West Wind is the only person besides Unico to appear in all of the movies. She is a kind spirit, the living deity of the essence of the west wind. She realizes she must always take Unico away from his friends and loved ones so the the Gods don't discover where he is.
West Wind is a wind spirit who commands the wind from the west and is white and shades of blue. She changes looks dramatically from one film to the next and seems to get more solid and less transparent from one film to the next. Often her white body and hair are seen streaking across the sky until she disappears into the distance, often into a spark of light.
West Wind is given the duty to take Unico to his fate, ordered by the Gods, to the Hill of Oblivion. However, West Wind, even though she is a very serious person about her duties, decides to disobey and doesn't let Unico be abandoned. She is his constant guardian and friend. She obviously cares very much about Unico, always returning to the places she leaves him to take him away when she knows that the Gods are about to find him. She always hopes that she can leave Unico in a place where he won't be discovered so he can live out his life, but Unico always uses his powers to help his friends, and so he is always found out.
