Davis Motomiya is the new leader of the Digi-Destined. When he breaks his own goggles during his first adventure to Digiworld, Tai gives Davis his own, saying that no leader of the Digi-Destined should be without a pair. He has an energetic and hotheaded personality, often jumping into things without thinking them through and acting upon whatever emotion he's feeling at the time. He is also very sure of himself. He plays on a soccer team. Davis is in the same class as Kari and T.K., and gets jealous when he sees how well the two know each other because he's got a bit of a crush on Kari. He also has a big sister named Jun
, but he doesn't get along with her as well as the other Digi-Destined get along with their siblings. Jun fancies Matt and she is an evil female version of Tai!!!

Davis follows his dream and finally opened his noodle cart, which became a huge success. He has a son who owns Davis’ (and Tai’s) old goggles. He is now the leader of the kids.
