Kari Kamiya: Kari is Tai's little sister. She's sweet and good-tempered, but don't push her too far! She isn't afraid to stand up for what she believes in, and isn't afraid to sacrifice herself for the good of others. Unlike the other seven Digi-Destined, Kari wasn't sucked into a vortex in the sky while at summer camp; she was home with a cold. This was a serious thing because she was once very sick as a younger child, and the experience left her with a weak immune system.
Kari is Tai's little sister, and lives in an apartment with him and her mom and dad
. Miko is her orange and white cat.
When Myotismon traveled to the real world in search for the eighth child, it was Kari he was looking for! There is something special about Kari that isn't known yet. A mysterious being once took possession of her to explain the origins of the Digi-Destined.
Kari and Gatomon came in late in the series, but they have proven more than once that they are an important part of the group.
25 years later:
Kari's a teacher and has a son who owns Kari’s old whistle.
