Kinnosuke is the second most money hungry person in the world (or so it goes). Nabiki goes on a date with Kinnosuke and is happy to get lots of presents and similar from him (which happens when she normally dates boys), but he had sent all the bills to her home. Kinnosuke has the ability to get out of checks and bills without paying for them himself. This makes him a perfect match for Nabiki, the financially brilliant Tendo sister. Kinnosuke and Nabiki decided to have a competition to see who can get out of the most bills and tabs without getting caught. The first person to use ten yen of their own money is the loser. Kinnosuke carries a small butler puppet with him at all times, which he often asks adivice from. The puppet helps him make any difficult decisions he may have.
