My Ukyou, Tsubasa and Kunatsu Page

Ukyou:

Ukyou Kuonji is one of Ranma's oldest friends, and was his second engagement after Akane. 10 years ago, on a training journey with his father, Ranma stole okonomiyaki from Ukyou's father's yatai (food cart), defeating Ukyou every day. However, it was a friendly rivalry -- Ukyou drew pictures with okonomiyaki sauce on them for Ranma. Ukyou's father told Genma that Ukyou said she wants to be Ranma's wife. Genma said Ranma already has a fiancée. Ukyou's father said “too bad”, he was thinking of giving them the yatai for a dowry. Genma said we'll take her. In this quandary, he made Ranma decide; he asked Ranma which he liked better, okonomiyaki or Ukyou. Unaware of Ukyou's wish or even that Ukyou is a girl, Ranma chose okonomiyaki, so Genma and Ranma ran off with the yatai and leave Ukyou behind. Shamed and ridiculed by her peers, Ukyou decided she wouldn't like boys forever, dressed and lived as one, and devoted herself to okonomiyaki style martial arts. Years later, when Ranma discovers her actual gender and Ukyou discovers that Ranma does not get along with his other fiancée, they reconcile and she becomes enamoured of him. Ranma generally treats Ukyou only like an old friend. She runs the Utchan okonomiyaki shop in town. She wears a bandoleer of small spatulas and a huge spatula on her back. Personality: Although she did spend 10 years waiting to get revenge on Ranma and Genma for dumping her, she is not particularly obsessive, and is generally friendly and cheerful to everyone. Though she is sometimes a little sneaky - generally in trying to separate Ranma and Akane, instead of using force. She is also a bit protective of Ranma (i.e. sometimes attacks people who attack Ranma), but she also gets upset when Ranma appears to be going after other girls. Although she loves Ranma, she is a bit shy about it, but she would still want to marry Ranma even if he was weak or very poor.
Tsubasa:

A beautiful junior high schoolmate of Ukyou's, who gives Ukyou presents and sends Ukyou love letters. Tsubasa Kurenai is madly in love with Ukyo Kuonji. At first it would seem that Tsubasa is a lesbian, but in truth, Tsubasa is a boy that enjoys "dressing up" as he puts it. Tsubasa is a master of disguise and has had such costumes varying from a mailbox to a tree. Skilled at camouflage, Tsubasa wears bizarre disguises like mailboxes, vending machines, umbrella costumes. Tsubasa met Ukyou at their previous school (which was an all boys school, Ukyo at the time was dressing like a boy). After constant hounding from Tsubasa, Ukyou moved away hoping to be rid of him. Unfortunately for her, he was able to track her down in Tokyo. Ukyou explained to Tsubasa that she was with her new fiancé Ranma (who was a girl since, everyone assumed Tsubasa thought Ukyo was a boy). Tsubasa immediatly disliked Ranma for stealing the love of his life. Later, when spurned by Ukyou again, Tsubasa tried to date female Ranma. Feeling sorry for Tsubasa, Ranma tried to set "her" up with his male half, which Tsubasa absolutely would not stand for. Tsubasa challenges Ranma to win Ukyou.

Konatsu:

Konatsu is the most skilled ninja in his family. That's right, Konatsu is a boy, and like all of Ukyo's other suitors, is somewhat mixed up when it comes to gender. When Ranma, Happosai, and Genma accidentally destroy Konatsu's family's teashop, Konatsu's ugly stepsisters send him out to take revenge. Of course Ranma is too strong for poor Konatsu, and so he is forced by his evil stepsisters and stepmother to leave. The reason Konatsu lives with his stepfamily is because his mother passed away and his father remarried Kotetsu (Konatsu's stepmother), and then he passed away too. Konatsu's stepfamily are all incredibly unattractive, large-lipped women that treat him horribly. It's a very "Cinderalla-esque" story. It's somewhat ironic that the most attractive "woman" in the family is actually a man. Feeling sorry for Konatsu, Ukyou allows him to work at her okonomiyaki shop where she treats only slightly better than his stepfamily did, but by now he loves her too much to care. Personality: Because he was brought up as a girl, he doesn't have a typical male personality, and generally acts like and prefers to be a girl. He is rather obedient, and was particularly weak willed in going against his old family's wishes, and is also very much used to extreme hardship. He is very grateful to Ukyou and Ranma (and is very respectful to them) for helping him.
