Info:
Minako is the last of the Inner Senshi to be discovered by Usagi. She was the first Sailor Senshi as before joining the Senshi as Sailor Venus, she was a crime fighter (in England) who went under the name of Sailor V. She was guided by the white cat Artemis. While Sailor V, Usagi worshipped her as a great super hero and was always playing the Sailor V game at the Arcade.
An interesting pun is seen in Sailor V's name; "c'est la vie"--French for "it's the life". Also"Minako" is a Japanese pun, sort of. "Mi" and "ko" can also be pronounced as "Bi" and "su", making it "Binasu", a Japanese pronunciation of "Venus".
There are several similarities between Usagi and Minako. The first, obviously being their looks. If necessary and it is done in the series, the two could reasonably switch roles. Also, both share similar marks; Minako's are a little better than Usagi's though. Minako poses as the Moon Princess at the start of the series in order to mislead the enemy. Throughout the series, Minako is often looking for a boyfriend. The other girls (to a lesser extent and in the case of Ami, a much lesser extent) are the same way. However, Minako places a much higher value on having a boyfriend than the rest of the Senshi.
In her role as Sailor Venus, Minako is the leader of the Inner Senshi as she is in charge of the protection of the Moon Princess (Usagi).
Minako lives siblingless with her mother and father.
Minako also goes to a different junior high school from the other Inner Senshi, but in Sailor Stars, she attends Juuban High School with them.
While in England she was friends with Alan and Katarina, a police officer. However, she fell in love with Alan, but both Alan and Katarina thought of her as only a child, and they fell in love with each other. When V and Katarina were investigating a warehouse, a grenade exploded inside, and Katarina thought Minako was killed. It was then as V watched Katarina and Alan embrace that she realized they were in love, and so she left, leaving them to think her dead. She returned to Japan and became Sailor Venus, joining the rest of the Inner Senshi.
On Venus she has a Castle called Magellan Castle

During the series, she has two different forms of senshi:
  • Sailor Venus: Her first form in the first season, R, and early S.
  • SuperSailor Venus: Her form in SuperS and SailorStars.
