Don't let the name misguide you, Cowboy Bebop manages to give the viewer a sense of originality, much of which is lacking in modern animes these days. The opening to this anime could have been taken out of an episode of Starsky and Hutch, that really old television drama.

The story evolves around a enigmatic young bounty hunter named Spike. With his comrade Jet Black, the two wander around space looking for the next big catch....

Cowboy Bebop is being released officially in the US as of now with a DVD version on its way as well. Those living in the UK will just have to import the series as usual.
