.hack//Legend of Twilight Bracelet (commonly known as .hack//udeden) takes place after the end of .hack//SIGN and the .hack games. This series is more upbeat and comical than the more serious attitude of .hack//SIGN.
The story revolves around the characters Shugo and Rena. Through a contest held by CC Corporation, they won the character designs of Kite and Black Rose, the main characters from the PS2 games. During their first encounter in the World, they battle a Lv. 40 monster in a low-level area for newbies. Shugo is killed in this area, then brought back to life by Aura, who also gives him "Kite's Bracelet" which allows him to use the ability Data Drain.
Other characters in this series include Mireille, a Rare Item Hunter, and Balmung of the Azure Sky.
