Duo: Hey, you guys, why'd you have to butt in? I had a great thing going here!
Heero: Because it's not the way things are supposed to be. No one of us should get credit over another. And if you don't shut up I'll make you sorry.
Quatre: Come on now, Heero. There's no reason for bloodshed. We can all cooperate, I'm sure....
Trowa: All we want is our moment in the spotlight, Duo. That's all.
Wufei: I didn't ask to be part of this. If he wants his own shrine, that's fine. I don't need any of you. I'm going to go to another page.
Firechild: Okay, boys, enough already. Now it's time to tell what's so special about you. And Duo, go back to your attic! Let me handle this! Wufei, do what you want. It won't bother me.Now, here it is:
Heero Yuy:
Pilot of the gundam Wing Zero and the leader of the gundam pilots. The antisocial, suicidal, and thoroughly messed up one among the five.He is known for his determination - especially when it isn't needed. (Needless to say, I still love him.) He is the one who is willing to risk it all... because he feels he has nothing to lose. "My life is cheap" is a known saying of his, although it isn't cheap to those who consider him "the perfect soldier" and seek to study his vitals to discover why he is so amazing in battle.Heero Yuy isn't his real name, by the way. It's his codename. No one knows what his real name is. (mysterious, huh?) He has a strange fixation with a girl named Relena Peacecraft (name says it all), once ruler of the Sanq Kingdom. He and Relena are complete opposites - which could explain the attraction. He is dark and destructive. She is peaceful and very idealistic. (My brother hates her.)
Anyway, Heero, as I said, is suicidal and this adds to the drama of his relationship with the other pilots. He's antisocial, the opposite of Duo Maxwell, a friend (and sometimes a foe) who tries to get him to 'loosen up' and enjoy life. Sadly, Heero and Duo don't really see eye-to-eye. Heero finds understanding more in the person of Trowa Barton who is also rather quiet and suicidal. Their relationship still intrigues me. I think they make a good team.
Heero finds a shoulder to lean on in Quatre Raberba Winner - heir of the Winner family, and a favorite rich pretty boy of many yaoi fans. Quatre is a very sensitive soul and he seems to have the ability to 'tame the savage beast' in Heero enough to reach him. Heero is quite lucky to have found such a great friend as Quatre. What a combination! - Suicidal and Homicidal! (at least in one episode, poor Quatre.)
Heero doesn't seem to have a good comradery with Wufei Chang, however. The two have their own agendas - which seem to be as far away from each other as possible.
Trowa Barton:
Pilot of the gundam Heavyarms. He is mystery embodied. Quiet, planning - I wouldn't misjudge him, if I were you! He's been known to act far too realistically for his own good! Once a circus performer, Trowa is a very dramatic and resourceful boy. Also, having lost his memory once, can be a very confusing person. It's not easy to get inside this pilot's head! But once inside I'm sure you'd find a labyrinth of passages, memories, hopes and dreams.Trowa seems (as does everyone) to have a soft spot in his heart for Quatre. He realizes the sensitivity and compassion of his friend, and also knows how dangerous it can be to ever tamper with that gentle heart. Still, he and Quatre have a relationship that could outlast time. Each looking out for the other, one a perfect spy, the other an excellent strategist, I think they make a powerful team.
Trowa's background is very misty, like I said before, but he has a sister named Catherine living on one of the colonies. ( I hate her.) She tried very hard to protect him from the horrors of battle, but as popular as Trowa is, he couldn't avoid the other pilots for long. We're all much happier to have him back anyway.
Trowa and Heero have, as I said before, an interesting relationship. They have a mutual respect for one another and an unspoken understanding that sort of hangs in the air between them. These two, if put in a room together, probably would think nothing of sitting and staring at each other without a word for hours.
Trowa and Wufei: A Combination like none other. Wufei is too isolated to be a close friend, but he and Trowa are at least able to associate. The two have respect for each other as warriors who don't underestimate each other.
Quatre Raberba Winner:
Ah, what can I say? I'm considering building a Quatre shrine!Pilot of the gundam Sandrock, Quatre is a native of the desert (although, you'd never guess to look at him - PLATINUM BLONDE!) He is the heir of the Winner estate, which means he's loaded. The only boy among over 20 sisters, Quatre has grown up to be sensitive and understanding. (what all men should be). He is very emotional, however, which is why he is thought of as extremely feminine. Yet, even Quatre has his dark side. This dark side appeared in the episode(s) of Gundam Wing where Quatre went berserk and tried to destroy the people responsible for his father's death.
Quatre is the heart of Gundam Wing, the confidante of all the pilots, and the one who looks after them all. He is truly sweet, but not overly feminine. He was raised with a higher taste and likes things like classical music. But that doesn't make him a sissy! He can fight as well as any of them and can be quite brutal. (Of course, his known saying is "I'm sorry. I have to kill you.")
Quatre is everyone's friend. I mentioned before that he can pal around with anyone from Duo to Wufei and be comfortable. His favorite, and best friend is Trowa. Trowa, being mysterious and alone, is Quatre's opposite, who has a past and a family (and an army of loyal followers). I believe that that is one reason why he is so drawn to Trowa. The two make a very nice duo.
Well, that's about it for Quatre, except that maybe he is the one that can be pretty decent friends with Wufei. *shrug* He's also the only gundam pilot who has a family to speak of.
Wufei Chang:
Pilot of the gundam Shenlong - which he refers to fondly as "Nataku". He is the most independent of the gundam pilots and the one who is least likely to suggest teamwork in battle. He is the descendant of a long line of warriors and very proud of his lineage as well as his fighting skills. This arrogant attitude loses him many alies.Wufei is intollerant of weakness in any form. He will not allow himself to be weak and if he ever is he is deeply shamed. He believes that weak people should not fight. He is extremely disciplined and values honor and integrity - which he determines for himself. "I will obey my own sense of integrity!" He is a strong fighter, for the sheer fact that he won't tollerate weakness. ( He also won't tollerate Heero.) This trait makes him a close runner-up for the 'perfect soldier' title in my opinion.
Wufei isn't very emotional unless someone he loves dies. He is a rock - cold and distant and tough.( I suppose this is a good thing.) He does, however, treat the other pilots pretty fairly - except for Heero. Wufei, like all the rest, is kind to Quatre. (Who, in my opinion, would be a good sparing partner for him.) Wufei and Duo are like a tree and a fox - one wild and free, the other rooted and strong. Duo's fun-loving nature offsets Wufei's strict discipline and they make an interesting blend.
Not a whole lot is known about Wufei, except that he is a loner and can take care of himself very well. Many warriors have good opinions of his power - one of them being Treiz Kushrenada. ^_^ Wufei is very firm in decisions he makes and has the ability to stay calm in dire situations. He prides himself in having full control of his mind and body (something a few of the others could stand to learn.)
