This isn't the same as Dungeons and Dragons. The only real use for these, is so that other people can see the kind of person you are. I also don't want to whole place overrun by super evil creatures, or super good creatures... let's have some variety! Lawful Good: The epitome of righteousness. The holy folk (Paladins, Knights) usually are under this alignment. They seek the betterment of all. Lawful Neutral: Order and organization are of paramount importance to characters of this alignment. They want strong governments with good leaders. These types of characters make good military officers. Lawful Evil: These characters manipulate the laws to better themselves. They don't care if a law screws someone else up, only if it messes with them. They rarely give their word, and respect it when they do. They'll only break it if they can legally. Neutral Good: This alignment promotes the belief of good, and that law or chaos has no say over if good should be done or not. Priests sometimes favor this alignment. True Neutral: This alignment takes to the straight-out Balance: they believe that Balance is the only way for the world to exist. These folk are rare. (Quite hard to role-play.) Neutral Evil: Neutral evil characters want to only better their lives. They don't care if somebody gets hurt to make themselves better off. Some lunatics go here. Chaotic Good: Chaotic Good characters are lawless people that have kind hearts. Robin Hood was probably a Chaotic Good character. Chaotic Neutral: They don't always follow the rules, and change their minds randomly in an instant. Those of this alignment join whichever force they feel has the better motives. Good and Evil does not apply according to them, and they love to fight. Chaotic Evil: These are the scourge of anything good. They believe that they can lay claim to and take whatever they want, whenever, and however. |
