So just how do we review anime on our site? Well, it's really quite simple! And this page will tell you exactly how! ^^
Our process of reviewing anime is divided into two main parts. The first part is a system of numeric grades covering six main topics: music, animation, plot, filler (yes, filler), characters, and enjoyment value. The number grades will also include an overall grade averaged from these individual scores. Following the grading is the second part of our review, where we give a short synopsis of the anime, an explanation of our number grades, and other little reviewing goodies! ^^
The grading is perhaps the most complicated part of our reviews. We give six main topics a grade from 0 (lowest) to 12 (highest). We use 0 to 12 rather than 1 to 10 because we originally used letter grades (0 to 12, F to A+), but the number grades allowed us to be more specific.
Grade | Meaning |
12 | Great! Does NOT get any better than this! |
11 to 10 | Truly excellent. Very few flaws. |
9 to 7 | Good. Some flaws, but none severe. |
6 to 4 | So-so. Could have been better. |
3 to 1 | Poor. Many flaws, but still somewhat enjoyable. |
0 | Bottom of the line crap! To quote "The Critic's" Jay Sherman, It Stinks! |
Here are the topics we grade anime on:
Now that that's out of the way, how 'bout an example of one of our reviews!

Review
Good, has flaws.
And that's an interview! Of course, the actual synopsis and review will be much longer and more insightful than THAT, but that's why what you just read is what's called an example.
Anyway, now that you know the magic behind our interviews, go read 'em, agree with them, disagree with them, vow to bash my face in for them... O.o;;;
And by all means...ENJOY!!! ^.^;;;
