The year is 1879, the Meiji Period of Japan's history. A lone soldier of the bakumatsu wanders the country trying to get his life back on track, when a young woman suddenly calls him by his old nickname from the war. Thus begins the classic, comedic, and even romantic series, Rurouni Kenshin. This section of our site will be dedicated to this great series, and will even feature a little bit of a history lesson on this era of Japan's history.
