Welcome to Densetsu no Anime Supaa Site, minna-san!
There are all-new updates!
FINAL UPDATE: Monday October 27th, 2003
In case you haven't noticed (in case anyone actually visited this site), we folded up shop a good...one & a half to two years ago. Sorry for waiting so long to tell you, but it kinda slipped our minds (and as previously stated, we never really thought we had any visitors...until we started seeing the occasional trickle of e-mails show up). So yes, this site's done, but for some reason Angelfire won't take it down...so...I guess it's still going to be here for a good long while.
In case you're wondering, Mink and I are still very good friends, even though we are now a good 100-200 miles apart from one another. She decided to attend college out of state, while I stayed here (hey, I can't help it if my first-choice college is an hour's drive from my house!). She has not pursued any other websites, however, as she has been rather busy with other things.
On the other hand, I got bored, got with a friend of mine in the UK, and made another one. If you've ever heard of Otaku Haven Anime, then go you, you've found me. If not, go there and partake in the fun. I'm still known as Nagisa, and my partners in crime are Asmodeus (co-founder), NegativeZero (Aussie webmonkey), and Crimson Goddess (graphics babe). We're in a bit of a redesign phase at the moment, however, but once we're back up, I'll resume what I wanted to, but never really got to, take off with here: reviews and columns related to Japanese animation. Our forums are up, though, so feel more than welcome to come by and post a bit (or more than a bit, your call).
But just what is my stance on anime now, after closing this place not so long ago? Well, unlike many people who lose interest in their teenage hobbies as they grow older, my love of anime has only strengthened. I can safely say I've grown and matured as an anime fan between the time Densetsu opened & now, as I type this. Gone are the days when a blithering DBZ & Evangelion fanboy would chat your ear off about "OMG HOW KEWL PICCOLO IS! ^_^" since those were really the only significant anime he'd seen. Instead, you have someone who enjoys spirited debates on the place of Rurouni Kenshin: Seishouhen in the franchise's whole, and who just earlier tonight shed silent tears at the end of I My Me! Strawberry Eggs (hate to sound like a sap, but it's true). I've come a long way in such a relatively short span of time. And I still thank Minky from the bottom of my heart for all of it; if not for her, I would have never gone beyond DBZ reruns on Cartoon Network and vaguely recalling "that kewl thing on Sci-Fi Channel about the space train" (Galaxy Express 999, which I credit with initially sparking the interest that Mink would eventually encourage). Thanks, sis. I appreciate it. ^_^
And now, unless I see you on OHA...Sayonara, minna-san.

There's a new page (finally!). I have written the Miaka page! You'll soon see more of Fushigi Yuugi, I solemnly apologize for the delay!
The results of the "Series Replacement" poll are in! Cowboy Bebop defeated Dragon Ball at 7 votes to 6, and Serial Experiments Lain came in with 3. So, with your general approval, the Dragon Ball section of this site is no more, and we instead welcome two new series to our site: Cowboy Bebop and Serial Experiments Lain!! Yes, out of the goodness of my heart, I have decided to go ahead and throw in Lain as a special bonus prize!
Really though, it wasn't so much the voting that cost DB its place on this site, but it was the comments that the DB supporters posted in the poll. Here are a few special "gems" that found their way into the Comments box (with my comments in italics)
-dbz rocks
So anyway, yes, the sorely-neglected Dragon Ball page of this site is indeed GONE. In its place: two of my all-time favourite series, a retro bounty hunter action-comedy/drama and a cyberpunk mindscrew about a girl with very creepy eyes. O.o;; Enjoy!! ^.^
If you feel the need to send me a nasty flame mail or congratulate me for my decision (really your decision, you all voted), feel free to drop me a line at or message me on AIM at KuronekoSama26!!
Available series, as of 3/9/02:

Additions and updates still planned
