Today marks the 6-month anniversary of one of the greatest tragedies this nation has ever seen. Yes, I'm talking about "9/11." I send my condolences out to the families and friends of those that died in the attack and wish a slow, painful death to the Taliban for making it a CRIME to have fun in America. I swear, since 9/11 this nation's become so somber I can't bloody stand it. People, I come from the "grunge" era when everyone was disillisioned about everything, and even THEN it wasn't this somber!
I just want to say something about everyone's historical accuracy involving Sept. 11th...did you people sleep during history class? I hear everybody saying this was the first attack against Americans on American soil? HELLO! War of 1812, the freaking WHITE HOUSE was burned down by the British! People, read a book and learn something every once in a while.
Anyway, as you can probably tell by the front page, this site is going over a "makeover" of sorts. Due mainly to STRONG loss of interest, I have deleted the Dragon Ball section from the site. Yes, it also took up too much room and I wasn't updating it as much as I should, but the main reason it's gone is that, well, I just don't like DB or DBZ as much as I used to. It's just gotten...dull to me. The plot is re-used and monotonous, the animation is awful, and the characters just...lack any real depth. Sure, the manga I like, but the watered-down TV anime is just bland and the movies oscillate between excellence and TRASH.
So anyway, in DB's place are two new series to the site: Cowboy Bebop and Serial Experiments Lain. Not only do I think these series are thousands of times better than DB/Z, but they'll take up much less room on this site in the future, and we'll have more space for reviews and maybe a couple more series some time down the road.
Anyway, I gotta go now. Ja ne!!
'Till next time, C-Ya jobbers!
