Fundraising
Fundraising can be hard work but it can also be fun. We encourage everyone to do continuous fundraising for your favorite charitable organizations such as the Elephant Sanctuary.
Kids and teens love to get involved in fund raising events as well as other adults. There are many things you can do within your community to raise funds for rescued circus animals.
Please take the idea of a fundraiser to any of the following groups. They are guaranteed to have more ideas, suggestions and can help form committees.
Church Groups - Sunday school fundraisers
School Groups - All ages, pre-school to college
Service and Civic Organizations - Vet Chapters, Animal Shelters, Law Enforcement, Legions, women's clubs, etc, will usually offer to provide their facilities, members and ideas.
Art Works - Artists love to donate their work for good causes and some may even be inspired to use animals like elephants as their subject. From elegant silent auctions to ebay auctions, art sales work.
Bake Sales - Easy to do from home and hold anywhere, even in parking lots. Students and church groups love to do these.
Silent Auctions to Rummage Sales - Not just for art work. Donated items such as antiques and furniture can help raise funds.
Plays - Player's Associations and local Playhouses, school drama departments, etc. will love to help out.
Musical Concerts - Musical Artists, school auditoriums. music teachers and school kids love to help out.
We encourage everyone to get out there in your community, spread the word about animals in distress while raising funds for their needs and quality of life.
