Noriko Hidaka is the voice actress for Akane Tendo, Ranma Saotome's fiance. She is one of the main characters of the Ranma 1/2 series, and a member of DoCo.

She has done the voices for Haruka in Devil Hunter Yohko, Seta Soujirou in Rurouni Kenshin, Mama in Tenshi ni Narumon, among others.

She has appeared in 42 different animes, according to the Seiyuu Photo Gallery, though it would appear a lot of those roles are minor ones. She hasn't had as many roles as Megumi (in fact, just under half as many!), but she has had her fair share. I guess this may be why she was selected for a starring role in Ranma 1/2.
