Introduction
The Tenchi series is a romantic comedy mixed with some action. Based in present time Japan, the Tenchi series follows the exploits of a teen boy by the name of Tenchi. There are 3 different series in all, and all of them differ from each other in alot of ways. But the basic plot stays the same, a bunch of girls want Tenchi as a boyfriend.
In the first series, Tenchi Masaki(A young highschool boy) is training at his grandfather's shrine, when he unlocks Ryoko(A demon summoner of sorts) and the story goes from there. In the next series, Tenchi Universe, Ryoko is chased to Earth by Mihoshi, and soon find themselves stranded on Earth living with Tenchi, and that story goes on from there. Finally the last series, Tenchi in Tokyo, takes place 3 years after everyone first met, and follows Tenchi as he goes to Tokyo for college, and soon finds himself falling in love with another girl.
Each series totals around 25 episodes, and in that time they manage to fit a huge and good storyline in. Cartoon Network has all these episodes and is currently running them on Toonami. Not much was edited from the original version, but still there was editing. NT will bring you what it can, but were not going to make it totally uncensored.
