The group was again gathered in the park. It was a nice and sunny Saturday morning seemingly peaceful while the friends sitting on the grass looked like they had not a care in the world, laughing and joking while couples and friends strolled by.
“Ahh… I love weekends!” Usagi giggled, snuggling against Mamoru’s arm.
“Usako,” he chuckled aware of Storm and Ange watching curiously.
“Usagi doesn’t like school very much at all!” Minako informed her boyfriend with a straight face.
“That must be the understatement of the year!” Rei said, snatching the tin of chocolates away from Usagi’s greedy reach.
“Hey gimmie!” Usagi whined, letting go of Mamoru to try and grab the chocolates from Rei, who ran off laughing.
Ami looked embarrassed while Usagi chased Rei around the tree. “We should go separate them before they ruin the chocolates.” She said.
“You guys catch up on things!” Makoto called to their new friends as she and the other Inner Senshi ran after Usagi, dragging Mamoru with them.
The next couple minutes included Usagi crying when Rei kept out of her reach and then started to eat the chocolates herself, then Rei tripping and dropping the whole tin into the lake.
“Wahhh…” Usagi was sitting on the ground, her pigtails trailing in the grass around her as she cried.
“Ano Usagi, I’ll make some more chocolate for you!” Makoto offered quickly, trying to stem the flow of tears and the headache the wailing was giving her.
Usagi brightened right away at that. “Makoto…” She whispered, stars shinning in her eyes. “You’re my best friend!!” She threw her arms around Makoto’s waist, her sniffles happy now.
Mamoru looked back at their blanket, which was now hidden by some trees, his expression worried.
“What’s wrong, Mamoru-san?” Ami asked him.
“It’s just awful quiet back there.” He replied. “Clarry, Ange and Storm should be making some noise don’t you think?”
Ami frowned. “You’re right, demo-” The rest of what she said was cut off as a scream was heard. “I don’t think that’s what you meant.” She finished.
“That was Clarry!” Mamoru quickly started running back towards their blanket with the Senshi following. The sight that greeted them was not a happy one. Opposite Mercury was sitting on a tree branch, holding his guitar in one hand. Water poured from the guitar, and was encasing Ange Storm and Clarissa in a large, unbreakable, bubble. Opposite Mars stood nearby, chanting something with his eyes closed and Opposite Moon was standing in front of Opposite Mercury grinning.
“So we appear to have surprised you,” He grinned then looked at Usagi. “You should have joined me Sailor Moon, then you wouldn’t be in this situation… But you had to chose him!” His eyes clouded with anger at that. “Now you will all pay.”
“Where are the other two?” Opposite Mercury asked as he softly strummed on his guitar.
Looking behind her, Ami noticed both Makoto and Minako had disappeared back into the bushes. And she smiled a bit.
“It doesn’t matter they aren’t important! They don’t have the strength of these ones!” Opposite Moon said, and he leapt towards Mamoru, sword raised.
From where they were hiding in the bushes Minako and Makoto watched in dread as a black mist came from Opposite Mars, slowly creeping over to surround the bubble holding Storm Ange and Clarissa. “He’s turning them evil again,” Makoto whispered.
The pair watched as Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars tried to fight the strong Opposite Moon. Mamoru tried to sneak around to free his sister and fellow knights, but was hit by a beam fired by Opposite Moon.
“He’s too strong,” Minako said in a hushed voice. “We need to help, Ange…”
Makoto hugged her friend to keep them both from crying. “It’s about time we got new weapons anyway.” She said with a forced grin.
“Jupiter Eternal Power Make Up!” Makoto said as quiet as she could, holding up her transformation pen. The white crown flew from the pen, swirling around her and disintegrating into crackling green lightning. The electricity covered her body and formed her fuku. She now wore a two-layered skirt, the bottom layer green and the top white. Her pinks bows were streaked with white and her back was covered by two beautiful white wings. Her pen appeared in front of her closed eyes and the Jupiter crest disappeared from it, reappearing on her forehead. “Eternal Sailor Jupiter!” She cried, dropping into her pose.
Minako hesitated only a split second before following suit. “Venus Eternal Power Make Up!” She threw the hand with her pen up in the air over her head and the crown dropped off it. A ribbon of shimmering gold hearts came from the center of the crown and wrapped around her body forming her fuku, a white body suit with a double layered skirt of gold and white. Her navy bows were offset by more white and her lovely wings fluttered softly in the breeze. The pen left her hand and reappeared in front of her face. She blinked once and the sign from the pen imprinted itself on her forehead. Then the pen shimmered and formed into her long chain of golden hearts as she posed. “Eternal Sailor Venus!”
The battle was not going good. Opposite Moon seemed to have unlimited power and already had wiped out Tuxedo Kamen and Sailor’s Mars and Mercury. A weakened Sailor Moon was standing in front of them. “You will not hurt them any more…” She whispered to the uncaring blond man in front of her.
“So you say,” He smirked and stepped toward her, his eyes cold.
“Matte!” Two voices coursed. Sailor's Venus and Jupiter were standing behind Opposite Moon, back to back wwith their arms crossed over their chests.
“Stop hurting our friends!” Sailor Jupiter commanded.
“You’re going to regret this!” Sailor Venus seconded her best friend.
Opposite Moon turned to smirk at them. “And what will you do about it? You are the weakest of the Sailor Senshi.” His tone was mocking.
Sailor Jupiter grinned. “Well first we are going to get some help obviously!”
Venus nodded and threw her hands up in the air. “Venus!” She cried out to the sky above. The branches of the trees seemed to part, and sunlight shone down brightly around her. “Loving light!!” She started to glow a bright, bright golden color.
“No!!” Opposite Moon cried, realizing their intent too late. The light burst from Sailor Venus’ skin and hit Opposite Mars hard, causing the mist around the bubble holding their friends to disappear as his head the ground with a sharp crack.
“Jupiter!” Sailor Jupiter yelled before anything could be done. “Thunder!” Lightning formed around her fists as she jumped up heading straight for the branch Opposite Mercury sat upon. “Death Spiral!” She spun in the air and her electric punch hit Opposite Mercury full force in the stomach, knocking him to the ground as well.
Sailor Earth, Venus Knight and Jupiter Knight were now standing free on the ground. “Well done!” Sailor Earth exclaimed.
“Sean you went too far!” Jupiter Knight stepped towards his friend. “Jupiter fist!” As with Sailor Jupiter, lightning formed around his hand, but his grew larger until it encased his arm. “Pummel!” He yelled out and the shock of lightning was heard as Opposite Moon screamed.
“I just got my love back and you will not take me from her Sean!” Venus Knight said in an angry sounding voice. “Venus Love!” His cracked his whip as it appeared in his hand. “Whip!” Cracking his whip more times caused a golden energy bolt to streak towards Opposite Moon, battering him hard.
Coughing, the injured Opposite Moon slowly got back to his feet. “You will pay… You will all pay…” He mumbled as he disappeared.
Opposite Earth was kneeling next to her fallen friends and she glanced towards Sailor Moon who was helping Tuxedo Kamen to his feet. “Can you heal them Sailor Moon?” She smiled at her friend, hiding the pain she felt at having Sean dissappear again.
Sailor Moon grinned. “Hai! Two more for our team!”
Sean was slumped on the ground near the lake, glaring out over the water. He couldn’t go back home, he knew that. They would be there. They would kill him for not bringing Clarissa, Storm and Ange back to his side. They would kill him for letting Frost and Flamme be turned as well. He was a dead man.
“I will destroy them!” He threw a rock at the water. “I will destroy them…"
