Review: Akira
Akira, the Cyber Punk Anime classic, The story is a tad bit confusing but here we go. The setting, 2019 Neo-Tokyo, The city is in ruins, Bike gangs run the streets. So where does the government come in? They have been developing a phsycic force, known only as Akira. They gather up test subjects and young Tetsuo(a gang member) is picked.Here is where the story gets good.
The animation is excellent for being the title being a little old. The Plot is twists and turns all the way. Warning: This anime is pretty violent (about 3/4's as bad as Ninja Scroll) and it's LONG. about 2.5 hours.
