Review: Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
Isn't that girl in the picture attractive? Well she isn't even real. That's right, there is an example of the power of computers. One of the first movies to attempt photo-realistic CG Humans has a little more to offer than visual flair. The year 2065, the Earth has been devasted by Phantoms, and it's up to Aki Ross (pictured above) to save the world.
The computer Generated Imagery (CGI)is beyond belief and makes you think the characters are real. The plot has more depth than to get rid of the monsters, you'll see the theory of what, who and how these Phantoms got to this planet evolve throughout the film. The creators make jests at character devlopment by introducing former relationships between Chara. but they don't go deep enough. This movie is rated PG-13 for intense sci-fi action. I went into this moive expecting pretty pictures, but got a whole lot more
