Review: Slayers
The Slayers a fantasy series is that follows the characters around throughout their adventures. It's main characters are: Lina Inverse- The sorceress supreme, Gourry- The dumb-minded swordsman, Zelgadis(pictured above)- The silent Chimeara and Many more. It's a fairly complex world of Magic and mythical beasts, full of action yet hilarious at the same time.
The Animation in the Slayers is pretty good, excellent at parts and not so good at others. In the first of three series(Slayers, Slayers Next, Slayers Try) this one revolves around a powerful Priest named Rezo. With him come many surprises. The spells can be minor like Levitation or earth-shattering like Lina's Dragon Slave. I would recommend this series to any Otaku and especially for those DBZ fans. You can rent them at your local Blockbuster.
