Ohtori Akio. He compares himself to Lucifer, and it's a pretty good comparison. He's evil. Plain and simple. But there are times when he shows definate regret. Akio shows up the first time in episode thirteen where he recaps all of Utena's previous duels. He talks to Dios like he is pretty well acquainted with him and he speaks about the "power to revolutionize the world" and all that stuff, giving us the idea that he knows a whole lot more than anyone else. And he does. In his first major episode, we learn that he is Anthy's brother and she doesn't think he knows anything about the duels. She specifically asks Utena not to tell him anything about her being the Rose Bride and all that. Akio is engaged to Ohtori Kanae, whose father is the chairman of Ohtori Academy, making Akio the deputy trustee chairman. He also is adopted into their family, getting the name of Ohtori. Akio lives in this great big tower with an observatory at the top, where he usually sleeps (that is, if he does any sleeping...) He brings Anthy to live at his home because he wants to be closer to the only real family he's got, and he lets Utena live there too because he doesn't want Anthy to be separated from the only friend she has. There, he developes a strong bond with Utena, much to Touga's hate... And speaking of Touga, Akio seems to have the playboy wrapped around his finger. Touga does what Akio wants. Akio has extreme powers of persuasion, so he can basically get anyone to do anything he wants by taking their weaknesses and use them to his advantage. Akio has a car called the Akio-Car. It's a red convertable, and it can appearantly drive itself. Akio uses this car when he is doing his thang to various people. He usually (with Touga's aid) makes some awesome entrance, gets the unwitting innocent into the car, and drives them off to show them the Ends of the World. The way he does this is to shift his Akio-Car into high gear, flip himself over the windsheild, and ride on the hood with his shirt open. After that, it's left up to our imagination. Needless to say, Akio gets around... or should we just say sleeps around. And he gets around with just about everyone: Utena, Anthy (his sister for cryin out loud!), Kanae, Kanae's mother, Touga, Saionji... not to mention the various people (the former list included) that he's shown "the Ends of the World." Of course, this is all speculation, but it's almost completely clear that he's gotten it on with Utena and Anthy at least, and most likely with Kanae's mother and Touga. I dunno about Saionji, but heck, those three do that lounging-upon-the-Akio-Car-while-semi-undressed thing a whole lot. Akio seems to be there all the time, when something bad happens. He saves Nanami from falling down the stairs and Utena from falling off a horse. By the end, he has Utena pretty much under his spell, and she has almost given up the hope of finding her prince, all for this man. Some pretty freaky stuff... just like the whole series itself.

Your first name of Akio has given you a clever, deep mind and the talent to excel in highly inspirational lines of endeavour as a dramatist, musician, writer, or artist. You can be lifted by beauty in all forms and you are at the most creative when inspired. Your expressive, affectionate nature responds very quickly through your feelings, but you must guard against being possessive and jealous. You feel and sense much that you do not fully understand and cannot express. Your delight in mystery could draw you into occult studies or religions. Unfortunately, uncontrolled thoughts make it difficult for you to retain emotional stability, and prevent you from finding proper peace and relaxation. You tend to centre your interest too much on whatever means the most to you, and then you become over-possessive and suffer through disillusionment and fear of losses. Moods of depression, self-pity and a quick temper cause you much suffering. Inner turbulence can deplete your vitality and have a detrimental effect on your health causing you to suffer through heart, lung, or respiratory troubles, as well as breakdowns of the nervous system.

(I included his last name because the first sentence alone is very accurate, if you know what I mean...)

Your name of Ohtori has given you a desire for self-expression and for positions that allow contact with people, free from the restrictions and monotony into which you are often drawn. Although you desire to be spontaneous and natural, you are often drawn into technical and methodical lines of endeavour and the incidentals of life. You are friendly by nature, but you cannot enjoy complete ease in association because of a difficulty in expressing yourself. While you can be exacting and thorough in whatever you decide to undertake, and desire to keep a well-ordered life with everything in its place, it is not easy for you to maintain the system and order you would like. There is conflict between your desires and your expression which does not allow scope for your capabilities. This lack of fulfilment of your deeper qualities tends to create repression and frustration. You enjoy sweet, rich foods, as well as meat and starches, and any indulgence would create skin disorders or possible intestinal trouble or growths.
