Miki-kun

Hello there! I'm Jason a.k.a. Miki-kun. I was first introduced to the show by my cousin, Nanami-chan. She told me that it was by the director of Sailormoon, so I thought that it should be good. At the time I had only seen 4 episodes. I only saw each episode once, and I never saw Revolutionary Girl Utena again until a year later. When I saw the episodes again I was amazed that I still remembered most of them after a whole year! I then bought my own copy of the Rose Collection DVDs volumes 1 and 2. So far I have only seen the first 13 episodes of Shoujo Kakumei Utena which is the whole Student Council Saga. I can't get anymore episodes cuz all fansubbing of the series has stopped since Central Park Media has acquired the rights to release the rest of the series and the movie. Well, that's my Utena experience. Here's more on me:

I'm 14 years-old and in 8th grade. Other anime that I watch are Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Bubblegum Crisis, and Tenchi Muyo. I basically like Sci-Fi related anime that includes characters with magical powers of some sort. The music I listen to is basically European pop. The bands I like are Ace of Base, S Club 7, A*Teens, and a few others. The only American bands I really like are Destiny's Child and Britney Spears and that's basically it. My favorite songs at the moment are Rinbu Revolution(Utena), I'm a Pioneer(Tenchi Muyo), Fruits Candy(Cardcaptor Sakura), Hear Me Calling(Ace of Base), Bootylicious(Destiny's Child), and Firefly(A*Teens). What I don't like is people who get a sudden change of taste in music. For example: Back then- "Spice Girls have the #1 album in the country!" Today- "Where are they now?" That kinda annoys me. I've liked Ace of Base since 1994 and I still like them today! Back then they had the #1 single in the USA, but now they don't even bother to release singles here cuz Americans suck(sorry, no offense). It's all because Christina Aguilera, Backstreet Boys, Nsync, and Britney Spears had to come along!!! At least S Club 7 are finally becoming popular... Aaaaaanyyyy waaaayyyy, my favorite Utena characters include Juri and Nanami! I like Juri's wicked maccaroni hair! Plus she's got a great Seiyuu, Mitsuishi Kotono! Kotono also does the voice of Sailormoon and has had a guest appearance on Cardcaptor Sakura(see the connection with the anime I like?). I love Nanami cuz she has a fiery, bitchy attitude! Don't mess with Nanami cuz she'll send Keiko to stick you in yo grill! Nanami also has bad things happen to her in the "off-topic" episodes which are extremely funny! ^_^ The characters I don't like are Saionji, the frog that raped Chu Chu, and the elephants that kept stopping Nanami from getting the Secret 9 Billion-fold Spice from India! I've got weird friends. Melissa and Heidi make me feel like Anthy. They are constantly on and off as best friends or worst enemies! One time Heidi was telling me that she thinks Melissa is a bitch. I told Melissa, then she told me that Heidi is the bitch. Heidi came up to me and asked if Melissa said anything about her, and I told her what she had said. They kept making me choose who to be friends with! It sucked being Anthy for a week! I've known Melissa since 5th grade, and I just met Heidi at the beginning of this school year. They both remind me of Nanami with their bitchy attitudes! Other friends of mine like Lolita and Lezley are more neutral. Lolita is a cheerleader who made me memorize the entire opening cheer from Bring It On! Lezley, who I actually kinda hate for his evil "Hotaru" stares, is half British so he's still kewl. I'd like to be one-third Swedish, one-third British, and one-third Japanese. I'd also like to live in Stockholm, Sweden, London, England, or Tokyo, Japan. Speeking of Japan, thanks to anime I've learned some Japanese! I can read both Hiragana and Katakana(although I can't really translate). I'll usually ask Heidi to translate for me since she is half Japanese. I converted from a dubbie to a subbie within the course of one year. It all started around April of 2000. I had decided to make my first subtitled anime purchase. I bought the Sailormoon Supers movie. It was the first time I had ever seen Sailormoon in Japanese! I was so amazed at how much better the Japanese version was that I decided to convert from dubbie to subbie! I now own about 16 DVDs that are all anime. The best thing about the DVDs is that you can watch it in Japanese! I don't care much for dubs cuz America sucks(no offense) and they always take out the good parts. The main reason that dubs suck is because the actors suck! Japanese people are multi-talented! They can be Seiyuus AND sing! It's like a qualification or something! In order to be a Seiyuu I guess you have to be able to sing or they won't hire you.^_^ Well, that's about it for me! I think I kinda went off topic in some areas... oh well!
