Nanami-chan

Hi there! I'm Kathleen a.k.a Nanami-chan. My first taste of Utena came when I was at Blockbuster Video browsing through the anime section a year ago. Then I saw an Utena tape with the heading "From the director of Sailor Moon!" Since I'm a fan of Sailor Moon, I thought it would be cool, so I rented it. I was addicted for like a week then it just became an anime that I knew about. It wasn't until about January 2001 that my obsession started again. I was on Napster and I wanted to download a song, but I couldn't think of one. Utena popped into my head and I downloaded Rinbu Revolution. Then I went on a lyrics search and the power of Dios came from within me again. Then I ordered the 1st Rose Collection DVD and a soundtrack. I am in the process of watching the next Rose Collection. That's how my Utena craze started, here's some more info on me...

I'm 13-years-old and in the 7th grade. My friends think I'm a total nerd just because I get straight A's all the time, but I am just smarter than them. *LOL* They don't know the real me. Other anime I'm into include Sailor Moon, a little of CardCaptor Sakura, a little of other things like Bubblegum Crisis (good songs), Tenchi (great songs too!), and such. My musical interest include mostly European pop. My favorite band are the A*Teens and my other favorites inlcude Ace of Base, The Corrs, S Club 7, and such. My favorite songs at the moment are Halfway Around The World (A*Teens), Revolution (Utena), and I'm a Pioneer (Tenchi). My likes include people with a sense of humor and anime. My dislikes are rock music and smoking (ewww!). I don't really have a favorite sport, but I'm getting into soccer for some odd reason. One of the other Webmasters, Miki-kun, is my cousin. So I see him often, though I never met Usagi-chan in person. She is one of Miki-kun's friends at school. My favorite Utena characters are Utena, Mitsuru, and Nanami. My least favorites are Saionji and Anthy. That's all on me!
