Usagi is supposed to be your typical teenage girl. She dotes on guys, spends hours daydreaming instead of doing homework, and spends an enormous amount of time consuming food. The words crybaby and klutz also tend to be used when describing her. Then one day, on her way to school, Usagi saved Luna, a black talking cat with a gold crescent moon on it's forehead, from a mob of unruly children and her life changed. Usagi finds out through her ventures as Sailor Moon that she is the Princess of the Moon and the future Queen of Earth.
She goes to Juuban Junior High School with Ami and Makoto. This is also the school where Usagi's best friend Naru goes. As mentioned before, Usagi spent a great deal of time doting on guys such as Motoki. However, her one true love is Mamoru.
Usagi cares about every one of the Senshi dearly, although she has had problems with Rei. In the beginning Usagi and Rei had a power struggle over leadership, and Usagi still thinks of her as bossy at times. Usagi's biggest problem however was with the outer soldiers, Sailor Uranus in particular. Saior Uranus saw Sailor Moon as an obstacle that kept getting in the way of her missions and had threatened to kill her.
Usagi is the reincarnation of Princess Serenity who, in the 30th century, becomes Neo-Queen serenity of Crystal Tokyo. Her mother was, the kind and loving, Queen Serenity who ruled the entire universe form the Moon Kingdom during the Silver Mallennium. Usagi can transform into the justice fighter, Sailor Moon. She is the leader of the Sailor Senshi and the most powerful as well. in the beging she refused to take her responsibilty as sailor Moon but then later realized that it was her destiny and duty to protect humankind. Even though she can be lazy, clumsy, or ditzy Usagi has pure heart and soul, she have even sacrficed heself for others many times. The love of her life is Mamoru Chiba, who in the Silver Mallennium was Prince Endymion of Earth. Usagi calls him Mamo-chan as a term of endearment and he in turn calls her Usako. In the 30th century Neo-Queen serenity rules earth along with King Endymion. They also have a child named Chibi-Usa. Usagi atteneds Juuban Junior High School and is in 8th grade with Ami and Makoto. She lives in Azubu Juuban with her mother Ikuko, father Kenji, brother Shingo, and her gardian cat Luna.
