Future in Her Hands

Chapter 2

disclaimer: I have so much time on my hands. I wrote the 
second chapter. This one is a little longer than the first 
chapter. Well I hope you enjoy it. I'll get chapter three 
done as soon as I can but it might take a little longer. 
Hehe, I love to hold people in suspense. But I'll get it 
out very soon.

Serena was walking to school when she saw Luna running after her. 
Luna said, "Hey Serena, I have some information on our new enemy." 
"They appear to want to suck energy for a certain purpose which we 
do not know. The strange thing is, is that we haven't faced anyone 
who has done that in a while so they must be feeding something." 
Serena nodded. "I'm afraid that is all we have at the moment but I'll 
let you know when we have some more okay." Serena nodded again. After 
Luna had left she started to approach her school and walked in as the
bell rang. Her teacher had been explaining what they had to do for a 
Science project but she started to gaze out the window and was thinking 
about the new enemy. She felt a gut feeling in her stomach that she hadn't 
felt in a long time. Then suddenly she heard her teacher yelling at her 
and realized that she had fallen asleep. "Miss Serena what do you think 
you are doing?" "Um, Sorry," said Serena. She was sent to the principal's 
office and had been waiting outside for a while now. She was trying to 
think of an excuse for sleeping in class. The door opened and the principal 
said, "Come in." When she sat down in the office the principal said, "I hear 
that you were sleeping in class again. So what is your excuse this time?" 
"Um well I was up late studying," She muttered. "Miss Serena that was your 
excuse the last two times you were in my office." Serena felt really bad. 
She didn't know what was gonig to happen to her this time. The principal 
said, "I will have to make a call to your parents." He startedto pick up 
the phone. Serena begged, "Oh please don't call my parents! You have already 
called them three times about bad grades!" "They wouldn't be very forgiving 
about this. Oh please Sir I will make it up to you I promise!" The principal 
took a long look at her then he finally said, "Alright, but if this happens 
again, you won't be so lucky." "Oh thankyou Sir!" Serena said. She left the 
office. By that time, it was already lunch time so she brought out her lunch 
and sat by the tree she always satand began to eat. Lita started to run over 
to her and sat next to her under the tree. Lita said, "Hey Serena, what's up?" 
"Oh I got in trouble again with the principal." The bell rang so they both 
packed up their lunches and headed back to the school. After school, Serena 
and Rini were fighting for the last piece of pie. In the end Rini ended up 
getting it. Serena whined, "You always get the last piece of pie. Why can't 
I ever get it?" Rini just plugged her ears and began eating the pie. Darien 
came in ready for their date and said, "Serena I was going to take you out 
to dinner and your eating pie." Serena got that guilty look on her face and 
muttered, "I was hungry." She cheered up and said, "Don't worry Darien I still 
have plenty of room for dinner but first let's go to the movies." Serena and 
Darien had left for the movies. On their way there they were chatting as they 
passed coffee shops. They started to kiss in front of one of the coffee shops. 
When they got to the theater, Serena had cuddled on Dariens shoulder. Darien 
put his arm around hers. Serena had been trying to get Darien to kiss her but 
he was so in tune with the movie he didn't even notice her. Serena, rather upset 
got back in her chair watched the movie yet she was paying no attention to it. 
Darien gave her a glance and started to get a smile on his face. She saw it and 
realized that he had been teasing her. They looked at each other and were about 
to kiss, but then they heard a very loud explosion. They looked at each other 
and then ran to where the heard they heard the noise. They saw a monster draining 
energy of people there. Serena reached for her compact and held it in the air 
and shouted, "Moon Eternal Power!" Her clothes faded away and she gained her 
angel wing. The wings created ribbons that twirled around her and then a huge 
flash of light went around her and then she was Sailor Moon. Tuxedo mask came 
from the shadows to help her. He took his cane; it extended and hit the monster 
in the chest. Sailor Moon took her tiara and cried, "Moon Tiara Magic!" The tiara 
whizzed through the air and cut the monster very badly. As the monster stumbled
Sailor Moon took out her Crystal Wand and cried, "Moon Cosmic Crystal Power!" 
A glowing light hit the monster in the chest yet it didn't do a thing. The 
monster blasted Sailor Moon that knocked her over. She looked at the monster 
in horror. She was dazed and she couldn't think what to do. Then a glowing 
light came and floated in front of her. It appeared to be Neo Queen Serenity. 
She said, "Hello Sailor Moon. This will help you defeat this monster." She took 
the Silver Crystal and made it glow. Then suddenly the pieces of her wand that 
the monster shattered started to float and they formed a new wand. Then her 
locket began to glow but it faded away. Neo Queen Serenity said, "I have given 
you a part of the Silver Crystal's power. You must defeat this enemy. The future
is in your hands. This enemy, you have faced him before. He is much more powerful 
then when you faced him." Sailor Moon said, "Who is he?" "I'm afraid I cannot tell 
you that. You have to find out for yourself." Then she disappeared. Serena looked 
at the monster in determination and cried, "Silver Moon Crystal Activation!" A 
sparkling twirling light force blasted the monster to dust. Serena's transformation 
faded away. Darien came up to her and said, "Who were you talking to?" "Didn't you 
see?" "See what?" Darien said. Serena realized that Neo Queen Serenity came to her 
in her mind. She said, "Never mind, come on Darien let's get outta here." Meanwhile
in the Dark Crystal a dark hooded figure was gazing into the orb. He said, "Blast! 
They have won again! I have to come up with a monster that is much more powerful. 
That stupid Queen Serenity helped them out! Next time they will not win, next time 
I will lead them into a trap." He disappeared into the dark of the night.
