Author’s Notes: I’m really weird aren't’ I? Who thinks I am. *Whole 
world raises their hands.* hehe. Uh I’m trying to find some music to 
listen to while I write and I’m stuck with a walkman that doesn’t get 
my favorite radio station. Uh. Life is really not cool. Ah there it 
goes hopefully it’s between country and Christian music stations. -_-*
okay on to the Break out. Oh yes to clear something up that Legend 
pointed out. Aunt Mea was just someone to make it sound believable.

Two Weeks Later 
Rebecca unlocked her door and opened it. She slid off her coat and threw
it on the back of a chair. Aurora meowed and jumped up to greet her. 
She laughed slightly and let her keys clatter onto the empty kitchen 
top as she scooped up the feline that was now tan and white. 
{AN: Her kitty is strange. It does odd stuff. I should’ve named it 
Moody cuz it kinda changes color whenever it gets emotional. But hey 
Aurora works.} 
“Aurora I brought you some dinner.” Rebecca tucked part of her wheat 
blonde hair behind her ear and took out a Styrofoam box. The cat purred 
happily and rubbed against her leg as she set the box on the floor. 
[Thank you Mystic.] an accented voice floated through the blonde’s head.
Rebecca rolled her eyes, “Call me Rebecca! Only call me that when I’m 
fighting.” Aurora looked up from her meal [But it isn’t your true name.]
she purred. “It’s my earth name and I would prefer you called me by it.”
[Alright Rebecca.] the cat returned to her meal that was getting cold. 

~*~*~*~*~*~ 

Faith yawned as she walked into the lobby of the Women’s ward. Aub and 
Ally were watching the small TV that was surrounded with a couch and 
four chairs. Aub was sitting upside down with her legs dangling of the 
top edge of the couch while her hair spilt into a large golden red 
puddle on the white tile floor. Ally was in one of the chairs with her 
legs on the armrest and her head on the other. 
“Anything interesting on?” she asked sitting down to see the TV was 
snow stormy {AN: You know with the white and black dots running around 
the screen.} 
“Shh! It’s getting good!” Ally said concentrating on the screen. Faith 
raised an eyebrow at the dark red haired girl, “You guys are crazy.” 
[What were you expecting?] She jumped. [Stop messing with me. This 
isn’t funny.] Faith scowled and crossed her arms as she sat next to Aub. 
“What’s wrong?” Aub asked her face with slightly red from the blood that
ran to her head but she kept her attention on the screen that was 
clearing slightly of the flecks of black and white. 
“Nothing.” Faith muttered s the picture now turned to color and a chimp 
doing the Macarena standing on a log. {I actually have seen a chimp 
doing that. It’s hilarious!} Aub and Ally went into fits of laughter 
and the fell onto the white tile. Suddenly a nurse came over to see 
what was making them so hyper. She clicked off the TV. 
“Hey!” Ally pouted sitting up. 
“We were watching that!” Aub said still laying on the ground trying to 
get over the giggles. 
“You must stop watching that channel it is not making your progress 
going any further to being released.” the nurse said putting her hands 
on her hips and glaring at the two. 
“But why would we want that? It’s great in this sterile plastic bubble.”
Faith snorted in disgust. The nurse turned to her and glared, “You can 
go to your room Faith if you are going to have that attitude.” 
Faith glared at the nurse then behind her she saw the tiger. She gave a
small yelp and jumped backwards. She blinked a couple times then looked
at the tiger, but it wasn’t there. [Okay now I’m seriously going insane.] 
[No you’re not you’re letting the nurse think you’re scared.] [Shut up!]
Faith regained her composure and left to go to the cafeteria. 
“Faith Masaki. Call booth one.” a nurse called from the cage where most
of them stayed. Sighing Faith stood up and walked over to the line where 
booths were lined up separated by wooden walls. She sat down and picked 
up the phone. 
“Hello?” 
“It’s me.” 
“Rebecca?” 
“No duh.” her voice said annoyed. 
“Why are you contacting me?” 
“Look Don’t take your sleeping pills tonight. And have you’re clothes 
packed up.” 
“What?!” 
“Look just do it alright?” 
“What about Aubriana? And The Nurses?” 
“Aub is coming with us. And don’t worry about the nurses.” 
“Wait, What-” 
*Click* The dialing tone was her only answer. She pulled the phone 
from her ear and stared at it for a moment and hung it up. 

~*~*~*~*~*~ 

[Mistress wake up.] a soft accented voice moved through her mind. 
Rebecca opened her eyes. 
Rubbing them she murmured tiredly, “I thought I told you to call me 
Rebecca.” [So? Come now we have to be to Kyuui ken Shizukesa before two
and it’s ten o’clock.] 
“I’m up,” Rebecca said stretching, “Where’s my keys?” Aurora jumped 
onto the counter and flipped on a light holding the keys in her mouth. 
The apartment she had been living in was bare and white. She grabbed 
her suitcase that was by the door. Perching on her shoulder Aurora 
dropped to the keys into her right hand.

Faith sat on her bed. The moon was in a crescent shape. Aub of course 
was looking up at the sky as usual not sleeping. Her body let out a 
strange glow. She had a bag with some of her drawings and clothes 
sitting under her bed. She was wearing a long sleeve white shirt with 
a lavender sweatshirt and blue jeans. Faith wore a dark green flannel 
over a black shirt and blue jeans. Then the bars suddenly flew off the 
window and landed with a soft thump on the ground. 
Aub lifted up the window then turned and stared at her, “Show time.” 
with a smile she grabbed her bag and jumped out. Faith was shocked it
was a three story drop and she jumped! [Hey Faith you coming?] Rebecca’s
voice came through. She looked down and saw Aub standing next to Ally 
and Rebecca. Grabbing her own two bags she jumped. [Flip] The tiger’s 
voice came as her instincts seem to come alive and she landed gracefully 
on the grass. 
“You okay?” Rebecca asked. 
“Yeah what’s with the cat?” 
“This is Aurora.” Ally grinned petting the cat that was still perched 
on Rebecca’s shoulder. 
“Rebecca you might want to replace those bars. I’ll start the car up.” 
Aub said reaching for the keys. Holding them above her head, “I don’t 
think so. I may have been in here before, but there is no way I’ll let 
you drive! Faith here.” Rebecca tossed them to Faith. 
Three minutes later they were out on the road the wind blowing through 
their hair in a metallic green convertible. Faith stared back at everyone 
in the rear view mirror they were laughing! [Great I’m an escaped 
psycho with two others and a kidnapper.] she thought as she stared at 
the blackened road. 
“You couldn’t be more wrong!” Ally started laughing again. With a look 
of shock on her face she glanced back at Ally. 
“You are with three psychos!” Aub said staring up at the sky. Faith 
looked over at Rebecca. 
“Ah they lie!” she said staring at the two that were in the backseat. 
“You were committed for pathological lying!” Aub said laughing. Sighing
the blonde shrugged as Faith stared at her. Then Faith remembered, “Did
I say anything out loud?!” Aub and Ally stared at each other then Ally 
spoke up as she casually tucked her hair behind her ear, “How’s the 
tiger?” 
Dust spread everywhere as she lurched to a stopped. Aurora hissed as 
she was flung onto the floor. Ignoring the cat Faith growled, “WHO THE 
HELL ARE YOU?!” 
“Is just a Zabora Told you.” Aub said braiding her hair in tiny braids. 
“Who?” 
“Zabora the large orange and white kitty with black stripes.” Ally said 
holding up a picture of a tiger. 
“Also your guardian animal.” Rebecca sighed and she stole to picture 
from Ally. Which in turn Ally pouted. 
“Guardian animal?” 
“An animal that protects you in your dire times of need. I have Xavier 
a wolf gargoyle. Rebecca has that freaky mood ring cat Aurora,” she 
paused as Aurora growled at her from the shadows of the floor board, 
“And Alison our English friend has Eurus a weird ferret as it’s 
camouflage. Zabora hasn’t exactly revealed her true self. Um Becca can 
I drive since she’s way too confused?” 
“No. I’ll drive.” Rebecca said switching seats as Faith listened to 
what their animal guardians do. The car sped down the deserted Highway 
and went deeper into the mountains. 
“It’s really simple. They have powers that are different then most 
animals, such as being able shape shift and make weird lights. They are
highly intelligent and they gave us these.” Ally held up a small brooch
along with Aub. Faith stared at them, “They look like ordinary jewelry.”
Rebecca rolled her eyes muttering the saying ‘Ignorance is Bliss.’ 
“Ah we’ll show you when we get to our new home.” Aub said as she leaned 
back letting the wind run through her long reddish hair in the pale moon
light. 
“And that’d be where?” [The guys are crazy and they are going to take me
into the woods and kill me.] she was starting to panic. [Ah we won’t 
kill ya. We would’ve of done that a while back if we wanted.] 
“We are going to Kyuui ken Shizukesa Keiko Bunka of Butoku ken Anshinrit
Sumei.” Rebecca pronounced in perfect Japanese. 
“In other words Peace and Serenity Training School of Martial Arts and 
Other Spiritual Peace.” Aub translated seeing the look of confusion on 
Faith’s pale face. 
“Oh.” Faith replied softly. 

~*~*~*~*~*~ 

3 hours later 

It was pitch black when they turned onto a bumpy road. They had little 
light with the headlights and the sliver of moonlight. Rebecca jumped 
out and grabbed a couple bags. 
“Where are we?” Faith asked jumping out with Aub and Ally. 
“We are just a short bit from the grounds.” Aub remarked grabbing her 
bag and slinging it over her shoulder. Ally had a stick which she 
stared at and the top of it burst into flames chasing away the cold 
darkness. 
“Just up the path!” she grinned and they started walking up the a small
dirt road that was covered with pebbles but still looked worn. Faith 
stared at the woods that threatened to swallow them up. There only 
light was the flame that Ally held on her torch and the ponds of light 
that spilled through the canopy from the moon’s crescent form. After 
about half an hour of walking Faith was getting very tired since it had 
been awhile since she had slept. The trees suddenly stopped as the path
widened, and they were at a large wooden gate. 
“Ah home sweet home!” Rebecca said holding her bag and Aurora in both 
of her arms. Ally walked forth and rang a bell that was attached to a 
rope. It echoed through the empty darkness. Faith was skeptical on if 
there was anyone awake at this hour. But suddenly the gates swung open 
revealing an old woman about two feet tall and a younger couple still 
older then them. 
“We were afraid we weren’t going to make it!” the younger woman said. 
She had dark black hair and almond color eyes. 
“You couldn’t keep us away if you tried.” Aub walked forward and gave 
them each a hug. Faith stood there as they gave each other hugs. [I’m 
a stranger here.] she thought bitterly. [Would you get over here Faith?]
Aub’s playful voice shot through her head. Faith walked forward but was
still very distant. 
“Faith meet your new family!” Ally said pointing at the three older 
people. 
“Come here child.” the old woman said through her tiny spectacles, “No 
one will harm you here.” her gray hair was escaping the bun she had put
it in. She still hung back. 
“Um. She’s a little not into the hugging thing Grand Nana.” Aub said 
trying to explain for her awkwardness. [Child, you have nothing to harm
you here. You are meant for great things. Don’t let you’re past lead 
you astray from your future.] the woman’s kind voice entered her mind. 
“Well in that case. Come on Come on you must be tired form your trip. 
Not to mention I don’t know what they did in that hospital!” the younger
woman said ushering them all past the gates. 
“Jemimah don’t rush them.” The man said laughing his hair was a dark 
brown with light blue eyes that were crystal clear. 
“Let me fuss, Ben I haven’t seen them for months!” she said scowling. 
Everyone started laughing as they walked inside one of the many small 
buildings.

Aub opened her eyes. She sat up and rubbed them. She was back home. She
stood up and stretched then looked out her window towards a lake that 
the cabins of the school faced and made a semi-circle around. Some of 
her old pictures were still on the walls of the room. She laughed at 
her old attempts to draw the people were horribly disfigured, it was 
hard to believe that she had considered them her best. Pulling her hair
back into a lose braid as some locks fell around her face because her 
hair was feathered in the front and some were to short to pull back. 
Even though the sun was just peeking over the mountain she decided to 
go to the kitchens. It had been awhile since she had cooked and she 
looked forward to doing it again. As she opened the door of her room a 
black blur came and pushed her down to the wooden planks that lead to 
the doors of the various rooms. {It’s in the ancient Japanese fashion 
kinda like Rei’s temple.} She rubbed her head as she pushed a huge 
furry creature off her. 
“Xavier!” she exclaimed softly as she wrapped her arms around a large 
wolf’s head. It was all black with large yellow gold eyes. [You’re back!]
A deep voice entered her head. 
“I told you I would be you silly animal.” 
[It’s been a long time.] 
“It has hasn’t it? Well You can tell me all that I missed while I make 
breakfast.” she stood up and brushed herself off. 
Walking into the kitchen she found all the ingredients and started 
cooking. in no time delicious smells filled the air and leaked out into 
the other cabins. Xavier watched her from a corner in the rather large 
kitchen. 
“So how has things been while I’ve been locked up?” she asked flipping 
pancakes and stacking them on a plate. [Boring. You have no Idea how 
these students get so dull after all. Half of them spend their time 
hitting each other with sticks!] the wolf let out a groan of disgust. 
“Well We’re back and things are going to be slightly more exciting 
from now on. I have a feeling about it.” she said as she started 
gathering plates and utensils and putting them on a cart to take to 
the cafeteria. 
[So do I, but I don’t think it’s going to be a good exciting. You are 
going to fight you do know that.] 
[Yes I do unfortunately.] 
[Ah I’m dieing for some action. It’s been over 1,000 years since we 
were able to fight!] Ally entered the mental conversation. She walked 
in a black ferret with a white tipped tail was hung around her neck. 
Aub looked up from where she was filling a jar with syrup, “Hey Ally 
Eurus you’re looking well.” 
“Cooking again I see.” Ally eyed the plate off bacon. her hand met 
with a wooden spoon as she reached out for a peace. 
“OW!” Ally exclaimed with drawing her hand and nursing it. Smiling 
with slyness Aub remarked, “Don’t try to take things out of my kitchen. 
Why don’t you go set up tables or something?” 
“I’m hungry!” 
[I’ve been here ever since she stated you think I’m not. She won’t 
even let her own guardian eat yet!] Xavier let his thoughts be known. 
“Yeah and if you tried you’d be for dinner.” Aub shook a spatula at 
him. Suddenly a scream filled the air. It was coming from Faith’s cabin. 
“Let’s go!” Rebecca ran by the door. They ran along and lurched to a 
stop to see Zabora laying on the floor and staring at Faith who was 
exceptionally pale was pressing herself against the wall. Aub started 
laughing at the look of terror on Faith’s face, then walked back to the
kitchen hurrying to make sure nothing was burning.

Kyuui ken Shizukesa Keiko Bunka of Butoku ken Anshinrit Sumei had ten 
students at the least. Jemimah, Ben and Grand Nana were the teachers. 
They excepted students that were seeking refuge or to learn a higher
respect in nature or themselves. Right now there was six students that 
were staying at the school. Each one filed into the dining room that 
morning to find four more people added to the table one of which looked 
kinda of tired from cooking. 
The first to sit down was a solemn looking young man around the age of 
sixteen with pale almost white hair and green eyes. He was introduced 
as Brandon Nukima. the second was a small girl about the age of seven 
her jet black hair had a stripe of Dark green and her eyes matched the 
streak. It was pulled back into a short ponytail. Her name was Janie 
Colt. Next came Two more girls and a boy each with striking red hair 
with two white stripes in there hair. They had dark blue eyes. They 
were triplets all though the boy was smaller then his sisters and 
didn’t exactly look like them. The first had her hair in pigtails was 
name Elena. The other one had her hair in a ponytail named Carrie the 
boy was named Eric. The Last one to enter was a boy with brown hair 
and Deep blue eyes he was very sad looking as he sat down. His name 
was Shinozaki. 
When everyone was introduced (well sort of Faith was just trying to get
over the shock of her life. Well You wake up with a Tiger looking you 
straight in the face and not get scared.) they sat down for breakfast. 
“Aubriana you should’ve slept some more you got here very late.” 
Jemimah scolded as she unfolded a napkin. 
“Ah it’s alright. I missed cooking. Let’s just say they never let us 
have sharp objects or fire at our home.” she laughed as she bit into 
some toast. Ally laughed as she feed some pancake to Eurus. 
“Faith seriously get talking. You are going to be here a long while 
you do know that?” Rebecca poked Faith who just stared at her plate. 
Deep in though she frowned at being interrupted. 
“Look excuse me for contemplating about our little joy ride last night. 
Then getting a rude awakening by a certain huge cat!” she said rather loudly. 
Everyone stopped and stared at her then burst into fits of laughter except 
for Brandon who looked like such a thing was not natural. 
[We’ll talk later for now just eat before Jemimah has a heart attack 
worrying about you not eating.] Ben’s voice flowed through her mind. 
The breakfast went along rather awkwardly even though the Triplets had 
a great sense of humor and Janie kept talking to Shinozaki trying to 
cheer him up. 
“What ever is the matter with him?” Aubriana asked who was seated right
next to the youngest member of the school. [He misses his girlfriend 
back in Tokyo.] her cheerful voice answered. 
[You’re telepathic?] 
[Almost everyone is. Grand Nana has been teaching us. I Though you’d 
know sense you and Becca are the greatest fighters here!] 
[Ah I don’t know about that you haven’t seen Faith fight yet. Still 
aren’t there more recruits?] 
[Of course they will be arriving in a week or so for more training.] 
Grand’s voice broke through. 
“Alright cuz usually this place is bustling with training!” Aub stood 
up. 

~*~*~*~*~*~ 

Faith walked around the grounds. There was a lot to discover about this
place. She could sense something different about this place then 
anywhere she had been before. A sort of familiarity that no other 
place had for her. A longing was filling her. 
A longing to actually belong here. 
“Yes. And you will but first you must understand something of what you 
are.” A voice came from behind her. She turned around and saw Ben 
standing there looking at one of the many flowers in the garden they 
were standing in. 
“What am I?” she asked. He turned and looked at her. 
“That you know already it’s just you don’t remember what happened a 
thousand years ago. That’s what you must know.” 
“What?” 
“Follow me.” he said turning on his heel and walking out of he garden 
and to one of the more larger cabins.

Cliff Hanger! Ah you hate me I know you do! :p! Well wait for Chapter 
3! I almost didn’t get this one finished in time! I was busy with a
