IF YOU DO NOT LIKE LAUGHING THIS STORY IS NOT FOR YOU! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ "Oh Darien, we're finally getting married." "Serena, I'm yours." As the couple started to kiss the ground crumbled beneath them. Darien was then forced to watch Serena die. "Serena!" "Darien!" a loud voice boomed. "You must stay away from Serena. The Earth will be shattered as we know it." "I can't! I won't!" "Believe me. Our future hangs in the ballots." ********************** Darien awoke with a start. "What was that all about?" he asked himself. "Why are you worrying yourself Darien, everything is fine, its just got to be." He shrugged the feeling of dread off and fell back asleep. ********************** "Sakura, wake up already!" Madison shook her friend and then siged. It never failed. At every sleepover she had ever had, Sakura was always the last one awake. "NO! Please not her, take me instead! NOOOOOOO!" The other girls in the room directed their gaze in Sakura's direction. "Sakura?" The girl sweated and moaned in her sleep, and then awoke with a start. "We've got to help him save her!" she cried. Madison grabbed her friend's shoulders. "Save who, Sakura?" Sakura decided to take a look at her surroundings. She then remembered where she was, Madison's sleepover. All eyes were on her. She hung her head low. "Forget about it, it's nothing really," she murmered. "Do you know something about the Clow Cards, Sakura?" Madison whispered excitedly. "Yeah, something like that." ********************** RINGGGGGGGGGGG! Serena groaned. "It's too early to be getting up on a Saturday," she thought to herself. She swung her arm out to the side and hit the alarm clock. The noise continued. Serena groaned once more. The young girl slowly sat herself up in bed. Her long golden tendrils brushed the floor as her azure eyes swiftly surveyed the room for the source of the irritating noise. Finally her eyes spotted the phone. It was ringing off the hook. "Mom can get it," she sighed sleepily. Serena then flopped herself back down on her bed. She then rolled over on her side to face the clock. "Please, it's only 2:00. Can't a girl get any beauty rest around here?" she murmered to herself. Her eyes then spotted something. A note was on her nightstand. She reached out and picked it up and then started to read aloud. "Dear Serena, Your dad, Sammie, and I went out for a little while. We should be back around 4:00. I'm expecting a call so please answer the phone when it rings and take a message. Love, Mom" Serena groaned. She groggily sat herself up again and placed her feet in her fuzzy bunny slippers. Then she noisily trudged across the bedroom floor. "Hello?" she yawned sleepily. "Do you like scary movies?" a shrill raspy voice hissed. "Oh God, this can't be happening to me," she thought. Serena flashed back to a week ago. She had been at Darien's apartment watching an American horror movie called Scream. Serena remembered that the killer had called a girl and asked her this question before he killed her. She had been totally petrified, but she had to admit, she had enjoyed Darien's strong arms being wrapped around her to protect her from her fears. Serena snapped back to reality as she realized that no one was home. No one would hear her scream. "I said, do you like scary movies?" "Stay calm Serena. You can do this. There is nothing to be worried about," she thought to herself. "Uh... um... yeah... I guess so." "Good. Wanna come over my house tonight and watch one with me?" "DARIEN CHIBA!" Serena listened as the young man on the other line laughed hysterically. "That wasn't funny!" "Yes, it was. You're such a ditz, Sere!" What was this? Her boyfriend was turning against her? Her one true love was taking the brat's (Raye's) side? "But you're MY ditz." Serena smiled to herself. Leave it to Darien to turn something cruel into something sweet. "I love you, Sere." "I love you too." "So do you wanna come over tonight? I rented 'I Know What You Did Last Summer'." "Sure. I'll be there." "See you then!" "Bye!" Serena fell back asleep into her mystical land of dreams. Too bad she hadn't dreamed of what was to come.
