RATING: G DISCLAIMER: I don't own this song. I actually don't even know who sings it. Whoever it is, I give you credit. Oh and I don't own SM. I CAN STILL FEEL YOU Darien walked dejectedly down the streets of Tokyo. It had been a horrible day. First he had seen Serena that morning, and had been forced to lie to her again. And due to lack of sleep, he had actually failed an exam. 'It doesn't get much-' A shadow fell over him and he turned around. "What?" he whispered when he encountered only air behind him, and no one around him. Turning back, he started home again. A sad pair of blue eyes stared dejectedly after Darien's retreating form. A single tear slid out of the blue eyes and the body in the shadows turned away. He was sitting on the bench. *Their* bench. The same place where sweet kisses and whispered words had been exchanged so many times. It seemed like so long ago, but had it really only been a few weeks? 'How long will you love me?' he heard her whisper to him in his mind. 'Forever,' he had replied. 'Forever.' A tear came to Darien's eye at the memory. He had meant every word he had said, and still did. But he couldn't prove it to her anymore. "Forever..." In his dreams, Darien could always see her. He always had been able to see her. But now, he wished he couldn't. Not the way he was now. But that's how it worked now. He dreamt of her death at night, and in his heart, he knew she would never die because she was the only reason the sun rose. Darien scanned the area ahead of him. Serena was near. He could sense it. Feel her. Her love for life and...for him. He knew it was still there as much as his own love was there for her. The arcade was extremely crowded for being so early in the morning, but it was Sunday. Darien ordered his cup of coffee and was about to leave when a tingling sensation in the back of his mind told him that his love, his soul mate, was on her way. He left even faster than he had planned to. Darien curled into a small ball and shivered in his bed. He was so cold all the time with out her. He had always lived in a world with out love, and now he couldn't imagine living with out her in his life. He pulled the covers up over him and felt a tear slip out of his eye. "Oh gods, I'm so sorry, Serena. Please...don't loose hope." In his dreams, Darien bent down to kiss his blushing bride. All of it was so real. Her touch, her smell and even the giggle she let out of her mouth as he held her. He could even feel her pain and sorrow as she was ripped from his grasp and killed before his eyes. Nearly screaming himself awake again, Darien reached out through the connection he had with her and felt her presence. "Thank God. She's safe. She's still here," he said to himself as he lay back down. "She's still here..." Serena opened her Star Locket and set it on the dresser by her bed. She couldn't help it. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't stop loving him. He had told her so often that no matter what happened they would always be together. The lonely melody came to an end and Serena closed her locket. "But he's gone now. And he won't even look at me!" She cried a moment longer. "He won't even look at me." Raye touched her friends shoulder and gave it a squeeze. "Don't worry, Serena! He doesn't know what's missing!" 'You've been saying that for months, Raye,' Serena thought as a tear rolled down her cheek. "Raye, I just can't forget about him. About anything." "Serena?" Raye whispered. More tears slid down her cheeks. "I don't know Raye! I just don't know!" she yelled. "I can't think, or eat, or even sleep! It's just..." "So, are you up to going out Saturday?" Johnny asked as he ran his hands through his blond hair and smiled at Serena. 'Come on girl! He's the most popular guy in school! Say yes!' Serena looked up and gazed at Johnny's blue eyes. In his eyes, she saw her Prince. Shaking her head know and smiling politely, Serena returned to her shake. "No thanks, Johnny. I'm rather busy and there's someone else..." The battle was long over, but still her lips tingled from the gentle kiss Tuxedo Mask had given her to awaken her. She traced her lips as she walked back to her home. A stir in the bushes caused her to take a ready stance. But it immediately stopped and Serena smiled when the sent of roses invaded her senses. Her smile immediately fell though. 'He just want's to make sure I'm okay. Not permanently damaged.' She walked on and didn't look back. Serena watched Darien as he got his normal cup of coffee and walked out of the arcade with it. She stared longingly after him and turned away. Another guy was approaching her table, and she too, got up and left. Serena could feel Darien's energy. He was miles away she knew, but still... 'Darien...why do you do this to me?!' she demanded herself. 'Every thing I do, is because of you!' "You're everywhere I am, even though you're not here!" she yelled into the night. "Why must you do this to me?" Darien walked towards the Crown and felt a jolt of electricity strike him. Turning, he was Serena walking past him doing the same. Her sad blue eyes met his for a moment before turning back. Serena walked out of the Arcade to go to the Scout meeting. As she passed a rather tall man, an electrical current seemed to rush through her body. Turning, she could see Darien walking past her toward the Crown while looking at her with cold and sad blue eyes. A tear threatened to spill down her cheek and Serena abruptly turned back and continued to walk. The battle was over. They had won again against Emerald. Serena had taken off right after the battle to the place she knew her love was. He wasn't far, but the distance was like an eternity to her and she wasn't going to stop till she got there. 'Even after a battle, Tokyo is so peaceful,' he thought with something that was akin to a smile and frown. The starry night sky glittered around him as he gazed at the Tokyo skyline. A little bell began to go off in the far corner of his mind and Darien smiled. "Serena..." Serena saw him up ahead and quickened her pace. "Darien!" she yelled while panting. Darien turned around, almost startled by her presence, even though he had felt her coming. Through the link they shared, the two could sense the joy and relief coming from the other and most of all the love. Without hesitation, Darien opened his arms to his love, his life, and Serena dove into his embrace. They held each other for a moment before pulling back. Serena closed her eyes as Darien began leaning down towards her. In a quick motion, Darien sealed his lips against Serena's and kissed her passionately. Serena immediately responded and the two kissed with the moon and stars watching. End. Sooo...sucked? Rocked? No comment? FYI, if you're reading this there is no such thing as no comment and you *MUST* e-mail me! Hee-hee. Next week there will be plenty out for you to read. Promise! Stef
