Hi everybody! It's me Stefanie. HEY! I HEARD THAT! Yeah, you in the balcony! GET OUTTA HERE! *waits for the audience member who booed to leave. Watches as half the audience runs out.* Now that that's done... Well, I was listening to my brothers "Pokemon" CD and heard this song "The Time Has Come," and in my mind it went *DING* Sailor Moon songfic time! It takes place in the episode "Day of Destiny." The song itself is about friendship and how no matter what happens, they will always be together. Please enjoy! Bit of a warning though, this is kinda depressing because of where it takes place. Rating: G Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters in this song fic. The song is property of Pikachu (BMI)/Jigglypuff Music (ASCAP) Cherry Lane Publishing Co. Inc. And is sung by Marti Lebow. THE TIME HAS COME Sailor Jupiter hung suspended one hundred feet in the air in the middle of the Arctic Circle. She closed her eyes as the monsters that had her trapped began to surge electricity through her veins. "JUPITER! WE'LL GET YOU OUT OF THIS, SO HELP ME!" she heard Mars call. Jupiter diverted her attention and looked to the bunned girl standing beside Mars. Tears were streaming down her face as she was getting ready to throw her Tiara. Faintly, Jupiter remembered her first day at her new school. She could see when she first really met her princess. The two girls were sitting under a tree at lunch. Lita could tell that the girl who had approached her was a little nervous, but she was sweet none the less. "WOW! Those look delicious!" the girl named Serena said, eyeing Lita's food. "You aren't scared of me?" Lita asked. Serena looked puzzled for a moment and then smiled at her. Lita smiled grimly. 'For my Princess, my friend. I will die for you a thousand times, just for you to spend one more moment in the sun.' "Thanks, but you've gotta fight Beryl," Jupiter's sentence came out strained and choked sounding. "Don't worry, I'll trash these Nega- creeps!" she told them firmly. The other Scouts looked at her in horror as her lightning rod extended from her tiara. "Jupiter..." she called out. A memory flashed through her mind as the power began to flow into her veins. It was her first battle with Sailor Moon, and she attacked with all of her strength, sending the Rainbow Crystal carrier flying. "...Thunder..." More memories flashed, of her and the other Sailor Scouts. Meeting all of them for the first time, going to the movies, the mall. Even fighting their once savior, Prince Endymion. "...CRASH!" she yelled out throwing the last of her strength into one giant thunderbolt. The last thing she remembered was that after her first battle, she had cried. She had cried because she had hurt someone, or something, and didn't know what to do. And her friend, princess and savior had been there to lend a shoulder to cry on. A vision of Lita in her school uniform appeared before the four girls. "Hang in there, guys!" she told them as she saluted to them with a smile. "I'm with ya!" Sailor Mercury was holding Sailor Moon's shoulders and trying to talk sense into her when her computer started to beep, warning them that there were more monsters approaching. The other two guardians prepared to attack, but Mercury stopped them. "I'll check this out and catch up with you," Mercury told them. "Don't worry, I'll be careful!" "But Mercury, it's not safe!" Sailor Moon pleaded as Mars and Venus began to drag her away. An image of the Moon Kingdom flashed before Mercury's eyes. Of her Prince and Princess dancing together, as though nothing else mattered. She didn't have a choice with these circumstances. Mercury smiled at her princess, "No body ever said that this was going to be safe," she told her. Mercury looked at Sailor Moon being dragged away until she could no longer see her. She turned and prepared to fight. 'I won't let her down again! EVER!' The demons of the Negaverse came up from under the ground and rolled Sailor Mercury over with a ball of lava, trapping her inside. Several tendrils came from all sides of the ball, wrapped around Sailor Mercury, and electrocuted her. An image of their friend appeared to the other two Sailor Scouts and their Princess. Amy turned around and smiled at the three, "You guys, I'll be with Lita. Take care!" she whispered to them. Sailor Moon fell to the ground and slammed the ice in frustration. "We shouldn't have come, we're not ready! Luna didn't train us right!" she cried. Sailor Venus didn't hear what Mars said in response to Sailor Moon's cries, but she had never seen their leader look so defeated. It was almost like she had already given up. She remembered how not too long ago, Sailor Moon had helped her get over loosing her first love. She was the strongest of them all. Another memory hit her. She remembered when she had first joined the Sailor Scouts. "Wow! I can't believe that you're really Sailor V! This is so cool!" Sailor Moon squealed. "You're one of the most popular people at my school! Everyone wants to be like you!" Venus blushed. "No, they can't possibly..." "Everyone loves you! You're my idol!" Sailor Moon told her. Venus looked up to her fallen leader and gasped. The ice was beginning to glow under her. She ran as fast as she could towards her best friend. 'If I don't make it, then she'll be like, Mercury... Jupiter...NO!!' Running up behind Sailor Moon, Venus yelled, "SAILOR MOON, WATCH IT!" just as she pushed her out of the way and got caught in the trap instead. Venus was suspended in mid air, much as Jupiter had been. "We'll get you down!" Sailor Moon called up to her as her friend screamed and tried to get out of the tentacle. "We're not letting them get any more of us! I'll use my Tiara!" "Save your energy! You're gonna need it!" she called as she was pulled underneath the ice. Venus closed her eyes, if it had been her sitting on the icicle, Sailor Moon would have pushed her out of the way. "Don't cry for me, Serenity. I'll always be here for you, my friend," she whispered as the demon began torturing her. 'We're loosing!' Mars thought as she literally dragged Sailor Moon away from Sailor Venus. 'We can't loose!' she thought as she ran faster towards nothing. Her mind flashed back to her first battle. Sailor Moon, even as scared as she had been, was there for her and had helped them win. She looked back at Sailor Moon. 'If nothing else, we can't loose her!' Venus opened her eyes and glared menacingly at the demoness that was in front of her. Summoning the last of her strength, she raised her finger to the wretch and placed it on her forehead. "VENUS CRESCENT BEAM SMASH!" she cried out, destroying herself and the monster. The explosion caused the two other girls to stop and look back. An image of Mina appeared as she blew a kiss and winked to the remaining two girls. "I believe in you!" she spoke confidentially. Sailor Moon buried her face in her hands and wept. Sailor Mars spoke to her emotionlessly, "I think you're supposed to face Beryl alone." Sailor Moon looked up in horror, "Are you bailing out on me?" she asked scared. Sailor Mars spotted the two remaining witches and began to walk away. 'Don't let our Queens' sacrifice be in vain!' "Wait, I don't want you to do this! You don't have to protect me!" Sailor Moon cried as she clutched Mars tightly. Mars' expression softened as she pulled Sailor Moon's hands from her shoulders. "Yes I do. Protecting you and the Crystal was my destiny. Just like being the Princess has always been yours." Sailor Moon looked up and let go. Mars gave the peace sign and left. Sailor Mars stood before the two incubus'. "Mars Fire-AGH! Where'd they go?" she asked as they suddenly plunged underground. A stream of ice irrupted out of ground, and encased Mars in an iceberg. Inside, Sailor Mars uses her attack one more time, killing both herself, and the two monsters that threatened her friend. Sailor Moon cried out as the ice exploded. An image of Raye appeared in the sky over Sailor Moon. Raye smiled, "See ya around, Meatball Head!" Sailor Moon wrapped Prince Endymion in one last hug. Just like her friends, he died to protect her. She let her tears fall freely from her eyes; she didn't try to stop them. 'They did this to protect me,' she thought as she brushed back Endymion's ebony bangs. 'So that way, I could still live to fight.' Looking up with grim determination, Sailor Moon knows what she has to do. 'There is no other way.' Sailor Moon gets up, and walks away from her prince. Turning back once again, she feels tears come to her eyes at the site of him. "Goodbye is forever," she whispered to the emptiness of the cavern. "Don't worry, Endymion, I'll be with you shortly." She turned and walked out of the cave; knowing that she would do as the others had done. She would die to protect the people she loved. Even people she didn't know. Such is the duty of a Princess. The End. I am so sorry if this was too depressing! I sent it to Nikki-chan and she said that it made her cry at the beginning! Hope you liked it! Not too much I want say, other then "ARIGATO!" to all my friends! So, ARIGATO! Stefanie Have I ever mentioned that I would like you to mail me?
