I would like to thank flame for editing my story. hehe. I just know 
she had *lots* of fun checking the spelling mistakes. There were quite
a few. Oh ya, BTW this is my first fic, feedback is HIGHLY appreciated...

** I said Hello I think I'm broken **

Mamoru's head was filled with confusing thoughts. Telling him to do 
this, telling him to do that. He ran his fingers through his hair and 
sighed in frustration. He had just had the worst night. Damn dreams. He 
thought. 

** And though I was only jokin'`** 
'
Usagi ran through the park. ' Its not possible,' she thought. 'Mamoru 
wouldn't break up with her. They had been meant to be since the
beginning of time. 
~~~~~Flashback~~~~~~
"I'm sorry Usagi, I can't be with you anymore" Mamoru looked at the 
ground as he said this. Hiding his gorgeous blue eyes that were 
currently clouded with mixed emotions.
Usagis eyes widened as she drew in a quick breath. 
She took a step back. Her heart breaking as she thought of what to say. " 
But.... Alright." 
Mamoru's eyes widened as he looked up, only to see her fleeing 
form. She.. Agreed with him? But. Why?

** It took me by surprise when you agreed*

His fist slammed against the wall. "Damnit!" he shouted, fighting 
the urge to go after her. Instead he turned the other way, walking away 
from her. He didn't get more then half way down the street when he felt 
her! calling. Usagi was in trouble. He looked around wildly as he 
doubled over in pain. "Usagi.." He ran off in the direction she had gone. He 
had to find her. 

** I was trying to be clever, for the life of me I never would have 
guessed how far the simple truth would lead ***

Usagi sank to the ground next to an oak tree in the park, silent tears 
streaming down her face. She didn't know why she had agreed. 
'Mamo-chan, why?' 
A blast of cold black energy shot threw the air and threw her a 
few yards back. She cried out in pain. The energy had hit her right in 
the left side, taking a good chunk of her with it. She rolled on the 
ground her arms wrapped around her sides trying to protect herself as she 
weakly looked to see who had attacked her. 
Rubeus was floating about 10 feet above her. His laughter was
floating through t he air. " Finally Sailor Moon, You are mine."
Usagi got to her knees, everything hurt. Her hand closed around her 
broach. " I am not Sailor Moon," she said weakly, trying desperately to 
stay conscious. She inched her hand toward her communicator. 
" That's a lie and we both know it, now don't we." He hurled another 
energy ball at her, destroying her communicator. "Now, now Sailor 
Moon. No need to call all your little friends over." 
Usagi gasped in pain, her eyes shutting as darkness took over. Her 
last coherent thought was that of Mamoru. "Mamo..ch.an.he..lp."

** You knew all my lies, you knew all my tricks. You knew how to 
heal that pain no medicine can fix**

He ran, following there think. She was in trouble. Major trouble. He 
could feel it, and her pain. 


Transforming into Tuxedo Kamen he nearly flew to his love.

Bursting in upon the clearing to see Usagi unconscious and lying in a pool of 
her own blood. Rubues flouted above her getting ready for the final 
blow.


** And I bless the day I met you and I thank god that he let you lay 
beside me for a moment that lives on **


Rubeus felt him approach. His eyes narrowed as he turned toward Tuxedo 
Kamen. "Your to late. She will die and you are to late to stop it." 
With those words he threw the blast of energy that would end the life of 
Sailor Moon. 
Kamens eyes widened and he ran across the clearing, trying to make it 
before the blast did.

** And the good news is I'm better for the time we spent together**

He dove for her, his eyes tightly closed as he realized he was too 
late. He gathered her limp and bleeding form into his arms. Tears 
formed in his eyes. 
Rubues laughed. " I've done it, the Wisema! n will be pleased to hear 
this." With that he was gone. 
Mamoru detransformed. " Usagi.. No.. Please.. Wake up."
Usagi's eyes fluttered open and she took a ragged breath. " 
Ma..mo..ch..an.. I..love.. You.." her eyes closed as she died. 

Mamoru cried out in anguish. " No.. Usagi... no." he finished his 
voice in a whisper. 

**And the bad news is.. Your gone **

Rei gasped as the sacred fire died out. Her eyes widened as her 
mind took in the event the fire had just shown her. She grabbed her 
communicator and called the others, her eyes filling with tears.
Ami slammed her book shut as her mind registered what her heart 
already new. Her hand went to her mouth as she stifled a cry. Her 
communicator beeped, she picked it up to she the sad face of Rei. "Rei-chan, 
did you.. ?"
"Yes Ami, I saw what happened. Meet me at the temple." 
Ami nodded and closed her communicator, tears falling freely from 
her eyes.
Makoto dropped the ceramic bowl. Her eyes wide as she felt what 
happened. She was already half way to the temple when she heard her 
communicator go off. " Makoto here, I'm on my way Rei.," she said in an 
anguished voice. Rei just nodded.
Minako sat up quickly; glancing at Artemis she knew that he had felt 
the same thing. With a strangled cry she bolted out of the room, Artemis 
at her heels. Her communicator beeped but she ignored it. She knew who 
it was. She didn't need to answer it; she was almost there anyway.
Luna ran. Her heart beating furiously. 'It couldn't be. Wasn't 
possible' she thought. Why hadn't she been there to protect her. Know it 
was to late. She made her way up the temple steps. The sight that 
greeted her was four anxious girls deciding what they should do and all of 
them with tears running down there faces.

** Looking back its still surprising, I was sinking you were 
rising, with a look you caught me in mid-air. **

Mamoru stood up, holding Usagi's body closely. He walked with his 
head hanging, toward the temple. He knew the girls would be there waiting. 
They had a right to see her. 
His mind replayed the events of there past. The times they had 
argued and the times when they had first met. 
~~~~~~flashback~~~~~
The ballroom was packed with glittering dresses and suits, people 
laughing and dancing. No one noticed the earth prince in the dark corner 
of the room. Hiding from his fan club. His eyes taking in the crowd he 
saw the most beautiful girl he had ever see! n. Her golden blonde hair 
reaching to the floor, her hairstyle that of the royal family of the moon. 
Her blue eyes twinkled as she laughed with her friends. She looked up 
as if she had felt her stare, her perfect pink lips smiled at him. 
He smiled back. With determined steps he advanced on her. Her eyes 
sparkled as he held out his hand for a dance. 
She curtsied and accepted the offer.
" My name is Serenity," The angel said, introducing herself.
" I'm Endyimon," he said. In that instant he knew he would never be 
the same again.

"Please don't leave me here." he whispered.

*** Know I know god has his reasons, but sometimes it's hard to see 
them.**

The girls crowded around Usagi's body as he laid her down on Rei's 
bed. Rei with tears falling down her face, Ami leaning on Makoto sobbing,! 
Mina holding Artemis and crying silently, and Makoto with her hand 
against her mouth stifling her sobs as her tears fell. Luna jumped on the 
bed next to Usagi's face, tears falling freely. 
"We have failed to protect the one thing that is most important to 
us." Rei whispered. 
Luna looked up at her, her sad eyes betraying her guilt. 
Mamoru took a quick intake of breath as the Silver crystal flared to 
life casting a silver glow on Usagi. Her voice echoed through their 
minds as her body disappeared.
" Its no-one's fault, please don't blame yourself. Mamo-chan, I love 
you. Don't ever forget that. And please, don't feel guilty; it's not your 
fault. Minna, take good care of him. I love you all," and with that she 
was gone. 

*** I awake and find that your not there**

Rei sighed as she gazed at the fire. She was getting confusing 
images. She kept seeing a crystal palace, and its queen wh! o looked 
very much like the Princess Serenity. Her thoughts took her to Mamoru. He 
had withdrawn. It had only been two days since Usagi had died. They had 
told her parents everything. Luna explaining most of it of course. Luna 
had taking up residence with Minako and Artemis. Saying that it 
wouldn't be right to stay with Usagi's family. Mamoru hadn't been seen since 
that day. He hadn't even come to the funeral. 
She was worried about him. But she didn't know what to do. She 
prayed to Serenity for guidance. But getting only silence in return.

******* You found hope in hopeless, you made crazy sane, you became 
the missing link that helped me break my chains ***

Mamoru dropped his head in his hands. His apartment was 
almost pitch black. The only light was a lit red candle perched on top 
of his table. He sighed. He didn't know what to do with himself. His 
life was going down the tubes fast. It felt as if part of him was 
missing, and in truth it was. His light was gone; his one bright point in his 
life had dimmed. He dreaded waking up in the morning, knowing that he 
would never feel her lying in his arms. 
His mind swirling with the need to be with her again he quickly made 
his way out of the house.. He knew what he had to do.

** And I bless the day I met you, and I thank god that he let you lay 
beside me for a moment that lives on**

Moonlight bathed the path, and the wind blew threw the trees. 
Mamoru walked to the secluded area. Flowers were everywhere, some in full 
bloom some not even grown enough to blossom. He approached his 
destination with his head hung low. The half moon shining with a dim light.&nbs! p; 
Standing in front of the headstone he quickly dropped to his knees. His 
head still bowed he placed the two roses on the ground, one white and one 
red. Both tied together with a black ribbon. His hand caressed the 
smooth stone surface of the gravestone. He took a quick intake of air as he 
allowed himself the tears he never let anyone see. 

** And the good new is I'm better for the time we spent together**

His hand reached under the black trench coat he was wearing. He 
clenched his fist tightly around the hilt of his sword. The same one that 
Serenity had used a thousand years ago to kill herself, when she wanted to 
follow her love into death. He raised it high into the air, 
positioning it right over his left breast. His sword started its murderous 
decent. 

'My Love, NO!' He jerked his head up as a force stopped his sword and 
his loves voice filled the air. 
' You cannot die. If you die then who will keep the senshi together? 
Who will help them in their battles.' He hung his head.
" How do you expect me to live without you?" He cried 
into the night. " How can I live knowing I will never wake up with you 
in my arms. Knowing that I will never again see your smiling face and 
feel your lips against mine?" he sobbed.
Silver light encased him as he felt her spirit around 
him trying to comfort him. ' You are never alone, I will always be with 
you.' 
** And the bad news is... Your Gone...**

The light dimmed and he felt her presence leave him. His eyes wet 
with tears he picked himself up off the ground and stood staring at the 
moon. His thoughts filled with emotions he no longer cared to feel. 
The wind picked up and the petals from the roses flew threw the air. He 
watched them go, dancing in the breeze. Memories floated in his head 
causing him to smile. That smile quickly turned to a look of anguish 

as he turned his back on the scene. 

** And the bad news is.. You're gone...**


His dark figure strode down the moonlit path. Gravestones 
flanking both sides of it. The wind rustling the leaves and the clouds 
gathering in the distance.


** Your Gone ***
