Silver Light Prologue

Disclaimer: If we owned sailor moon we would be rich and famous. Seeing 
as how I am not rich and famous, and you are not rich and famous then I 
guess we don't own it huh?

Usagi ran, her feet barely touching the ground, her lungs bursting 
with the need to breath. The hall she ran through was dark, only the light 
of the moon that came streaming through one solitary window showed her 
the way. She quickly approached the only door that would lead her out 
of this hell. Panting she turned the knob, her palm wet with sweat. Her 
eyes widened as the door swung open reviling the most gruesome site she 
had ever seen.
Bodies lay, broken and unmoving, on the ground. Blood was everywhere, 
the smell of it making her sick. She put her hand to her mouth, her 
eyes roaming from one mutilated corpse to another. Their once brightly 
colored outfits covered with dirt and blood, some of it there own, some of 
it from the others they had tried to save. 
Walking in the circle of bodies she stopped by each of them, her 
tears rolling unchecked down her face. Touching each of their tiaras she 
de-activated their transformations. Finally she stopped at Tuxedo Kamen. 
Falling to her knees she picked up his mask that was laying beside 
him. She slipped it into her pocket, her sobs echoing in the night. 
Reaching down she ran her fingers through his blood-matted hair. She pulled 
his head into her lap and brushed her fingers over his face. 
Her body was shaking slightly, the guilt of not being there for her 
friends weighing heavily on her mind. Thoughts of who could've done this 
raced around her head. Rage and sorrow dancing through her blood. Her 
red-rimmed eyes looked around for any sign of the culprit, finding 
nothing except for her dead friends.
A dark shadow fell over her, going unnoticed. It watched as the 
weeping girl ran loving hands threw her loves dark hair. 
" Princess Serenity." 
Usagi's head flew up, her eyes widened as her gaze took in the 
figure. Her hand flying to her throat.
