Relena originally thought she was the daughter of Vice Foreign Minister Doreland, but really is a Peacecraft. She is also Zechs' sister. The reason she thought she was Dorelands daughter was because when the Peacecrafts were overthrown she was very young and couldn't remember it. It was then that Doreland decided to take her in as his daughter. She does learn the truth though, very early in the series. When she first see's Heero she falls in love instantly but Heero only wants to destroy her. Later when the Peacecraft Monarchy rises again and she is head Heero joins her. After the whole war is over she becomes the Vice Foreign Minister.
