Hi! I'm
Miaka. I know this site is labled "Suya's", but that's because it's kinda
old, from a few years ago. That used to be my nickname, but over the last
summer I aquired a new one, and Miaka is what I go by now. Everyone
knows me as Miaka, many people don't even realize that's not actually my
name. Several of those who do know can't remember my real name. Needless
to say, I don't mind at all. I actually prefer to be called Miaka anyhow.
It sounds better. *^_^*
How did I get the nickname you ask? Simple. Over the summer I was at
an animethon with my friends, and a couple of them deicded that I look
exactly like Miaka Yuki from the anime Fushigi Yugi. I liked the
name, and it stuck. Yes, I'm perfectly aware of who exactly Yuki Miaka
is, and that most people would not find it a good thing to be compared
to her. I happen to like being compared to Suzaku no Miko. And they're
right, I really do look a lot like her. Except for my eyes, which are the
wrong color.
Anyhow....I'm currently a sophmore in college, majoring in Computer
Science. So maybe at some point I'll know enough to jazz up this site a
bit. Who knows? *^_^*
I'm into a lot of various types of anime...
I'll try to see what I can do in order to put stuff up that's from each
of these animes. Well, I have some stuff up on my other
site . There are fanfics there, but it's just starting so there's really
not much else. Please check it out, though! *^_^*
