Notes: Astounded at her knowledge of Gotenks, the two handsome hybrids take her to train

Chapter8:Imminent Peril

Cillia took a deep breath of fresh air. She turned to look at Trunks and Goten. They had taken her to a place outside of the city, for safety, they said.
"So, how exactly should we train? I would think it would be awkward to have a one-for-all," Cillia said, trying to restrain her excitement.
"Uh...you're right. Why don't I spar with you, then I spar with Trunks, then you fight with Trunks," said Goten before Trunks had a chance to open his mouth.
"That sounds fine with me," she said brightly. She crouched down, trying to remember what she had been taught in her memories.
Goten and Trunks were surprised to see her take up a perfect warrior's stance. Trunks walked a ways off as Goten almost copied Cillia.
Once Goten was entirely in position, Cillia disappeared. Kuso, she's fast! Goten thought as he traced her ki just quick enough to jump out of the way as a fist entered the space where his head would be.
Cillia was revelling in being able to remember everything her teacher had taught her, so when Goten disapeared, so did she. Above! she thought, racing upward before she realized she was flying. As soon as she was above him, she raised her hands. Her arms were straight out from her body, with her elbows bent up at a 90 degree angle.
Before she thought, she shouted, "Ka...la...Koua!"
Goten had been trying to trace her ki, and was absolutely floored when he sensed her above him. Then he realized that her ki was increasing. He looked up as Cillia fired. Goten only had a few seconds to put up a guard, no ki shield. Therefore he felt almost the full extent of the blast.
Trunks, watching, had been just as stunned as Goten. He watched as the blast plowed Goten into the ground, hard.
Cillia let her arms drop to her sides, amazed at the damage she had caused. Where was Goten? She couldn't feel him. As she began to panic a bit, she felt an impact on the side of her jaw. Cillia wirled to face a smirking Goten.
"You didn't think you'd get rid of me that easy, did you?" he asked, wiping the smallest trickle of blood from his lip.
Cillia smirked ever so slightly. She had many more tricks up her sleeve now that she knew that her memories could be trusted. When she had been unable to sense Goten, she had remembered her ki training in a rush. She leapt at Goten, almost unaware that small but very powerful ki blasts jumped from her fingers to her target.

The cloaked figure breathed deep. It looked at the city sprawled at the foot of the cliff he watched from. He gave a low chuckle. It echoed deep in his chest, the kind of sound a tiger makes when about to pounce. He glided over the city, instinctually camoflauging himself against the sky.
