Once they woke up the geniuses, the three girls were given all that in fact it was not Zagato to the one who they had to defeat and that the only thing that Zagato wanted was that the Princess Emerald was happy.
Having already defeated Zagato the Princess Emerald becomes furious since she was in love wiht Zagato and she enters in a kind of a shock, losing the control and transforming from a girl to a woman and inside her desperation to have lost the person that she loved, wants to charge vengeance on the Magic knights, while they don't want to face her, since they have understood their true desire.
With tears in their eyes the three knights face the princess Emerald giving her death.
But there's not the edn of everything...
The second part begins, when one week after the princess's Emerald death, the girls return to the Tokyo Tower and while they remember the unjust deaths of Zagato and the Princess Emerald, they are called to Cefiro again.
There Guru Clef explains to them that Cefiro doesn't have a new pillar, for that it's crumbling and at the same time, three planets invade them trying to obtain the power of the pillar; Ootozamu, Chizeta and Fahren.
The mission of the girls is to find the new pillar there is not any rule that it dictates that the pillar should be somebody from Cefiro. But but it takes a long time to discovers that the pillar can be Hikaru or Eagle, in the anime Eagle encourages it is sacrificed knowing that by reason of an illness that contracted since he plan to invade Cefiro he won't survive the enough time to save Ootozamu giving to the knights the opportunity to defeat Debonar. [in the Manga Eagle enters in a deep dream which he never awake]
And the history finishes with Hikaru who destroys the system of the pillar to give the control of Cefiro to its inhabitants. [in the Manga after destroying the system, our friends decide not to return to Tokyo staying forever in Cefiro. Fuu becomes Ferio's fiancé, Umi never decides between Ascot and Guru Clef... And when they ask Hikaru that who she prefers, if's Latens or Eagle [who still sleeps but its recupreación is expected] she responds smiling "at both!"
