Vegeta was amused by Raditz's death against earthlings, and the Dragonballs, so he decides to go to Earth and retrive these mysterious balls and become the worlds strongest warrior in the universe. Eventually coming to Earth, the Z fighters try to defeat the aliens (Vegita and Nappa) to stop them from destroying the earth. Near the end of the battle Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Yamucha, and Chaozou have died and all hope is lost until the coming of Goku. Vegeta was defeated and Nappa was killed by Vegeta (stupid huh?) Defeated by Goku, Vegeta was angered and since that day they were rivals. Vegeta seeming to be always once step behind Goku kept training and training to be stronger. Vegeta always denying him being less powerful as Goku finally gave respect by self destructing to kill Majin Buu to save someone else them himself. Vegeta had only reached 4 sayajin levels and had fused with Goku two different ways to become Gogeta and Vegitto. His whereabouts during the end of GT are unknown.
