Heero was raised by Odin Lowe, who is the same man who assassinated the real Heero Yuy! He taught Heero everything about how to survive and weaponry ever since Heero was a small child. They traveled together and acted as father and son so no one would be suspicious. It was part of a 'contract'. Soooo anyway. Heero and Odin were on a mission to kill Septem, who later appears at the beginning of the series. He is an Alliance commander and, of course, Odin is hired to kill him. Heero assists him in the mission, and after Odin is shot and killed, Heero completes the mission by destroying the command center. Doctor J stops him in an alley and ASKS Heero if he wishes to become a Gundam pilot. Of course, Heero accepts. Deep down, Heero is a kind young man. He really doesn't dispise war, until he kills a young girl and finds her teddy bear. The fact that he killed a civilian comes as a bit of a shock to Heero, and he considers killing himself. But as well all know he doesn't. He goes on to fight for the peace of the colonies, and does it well. Heero is the deadliest of all the pilots. He is dedicated to his missions even if it means taking his own life, and being brought up by an assassin makes him even more dangerous.
