It was a hazy, overcast night that summer evening with the full moon lighting the clouds from above like a light shining though a sheer silken cloth. A warm, delicate breeze rippled though the air, making him forget that he was in the middle of a large city if he just closed his eyes. Touma loved the night time. It was almost more interesting then what the daylight had to offer. In the darkness, one could hide away from the scrutiny of the day and enjoy whatever pleasure was desired. When all is cloaked in shadow, there is no one to judge a person and tell them that they are wrong.
Touma sighed loudly as he looked down from his balcony on the twelfth floor of his Osakan apartment. It was around two in the morning and most of the sizable city had gone to sleep. He liked it this way, all still and quiet. Save the occasional car buzzing down the street below, there were no sounds to be heard besides the wind. He loved the quiet, but the silence made him remember how lonely he was.
He'd left the mansion that Nasuti owned shortly after returning from Africa. There was no need for five young men to be living together. He returned to Osaka, to his father's apartment, but he rarely saw him. It was two AM and his father had yet to return.
"Probably fell asleep at the lab again," he chuckled, though his laugh had an empty quality. He was so lonely. Leaving the house and the other guys was the hardest thing he had ever done, but it was time for them all to move on and he knew it. Why should he kid himself? Walking back inside his room, he closed the doors the led to the balcony behind him. He pulled back the bedding and stripped off his shirt. It was late and he might as well get some sleep. His father would most likely come home sometime the next morning and Touma wanted to be able to at least talk to him before he rushed off to his precious work again. He laid down in his bed and closed his eyes.
He was scarcely asleep when he felt something warm and smooth on his cheek. It was like being touched by a soft silken garment. The touch wandered to his neck and then to his bare chest, stroking and feeling him. With his eyes still closed, Touma moaned lightly. The touch caressed his solid stomach, tracing each line with gentle strokes. The soft touch slipped under the waistband of his boxers to his hips and then curled around his length.
Touma's eyes shot open with a yelp. His confused and nearly panicked gaze was met by a pair of dark, midnight blue eyes.
"Kayura?" he gasped, rubbing the sleep from his eyes, "what on earth are you doing?"
The petite woman sighed softly and cocked her head to the side, the darkness making her outline seem almost like a shadow.
"I've come to keep you company," she whispered softly, "I could feel the empty, hollowness eminating from you."
"It's alright, really." Touma thought that if it wasn't dark, the woman would see his bright red blushing.
"It's not alright," she whispered breathily, "I couldn't sleep tonight because your pain would not stop tugging at my heart. I had to come to see you."
"You did?" he answered her, watching the glistening in her eyes. The two round orbs of midnight were wide with compassion, as well as a hint of something that Touma couldn't quite put his finger on.
Silently, she began to caress him again, staring at his chest and working her way down. Her nimble fingers teased his body and made him whimper in delight.
"Not here," Touma gasped. Kayura paused and looked at him quizzically.
"We're in your bedroom, where else are we supposed to be?"
"I have a better idea," he said as a small smirk began to form on his face. He laughed as he reached for his armor orb and donned his under armor.
"Now how and I supposed to-" Kayura started to protest before she was cut short. Touma took the slight woman into his arms and jumped out the window. She wanted to scream out loud when she felt herself falling, but she trusted the bearer of Tenku not to drop her. After a mere matter of seconds, the falling became floating. The two soared higher and higher into the sky. When a few moments had passed, the city below was nothing more then a collection of flickering lights, tinted slightly blue from the bubble that encased the two.
He kissed her nose playfully before setting her down. She panicked a moment, thinking that she was going to fall, but the bubble around them held and her feet were standing on a solid, yet transparent surface.
"The view is spectacular," she said breathily. Her heart was still turning flips from the shock.
"No one will see us up here," he commented, smiling, "It's just the two of us above the world" He shed his under armor, but the bubble still held. Kayura thought that Touma must have been getting stronger if he could maintain the bubble without his armor. He put his arm around her waist and kissed her.
Wrapping her long arms around his neck, she deepened the kiss. Her tongue ran over his teeth, which subsequently opened wider, allowing her to taste him. She felt him undo the light blouse she wore and fling it aside. To her amazement, the garment floated in the air beside them.
"I'm talented," he said, his smirk growing ever wider. The ache that burned inside of him grew hotter and hotter. Loneliness forgotten, he was solely focused on the beauty that he held in his arms. Her fingers managed to free him of his remaining clothes while he worked on her. The scattered clothing floated around them as if they were underwater. He kissed her again, trailing his soft kisses all over her bare flesh. This earned him a groan from her as they continued to tease each other's bodies.
While looking deeply into her expressive eyes, he spread her legs and entered her slowly. His driving need, however, didn't keep him still for long. He moved inside of her, pumping faster and faster. The currents of air moved around them as they made love in the clouds, though they were not cold. The heat of their passion was more then enough to keep the chill away. Touma caressed her long, dark hair and continued to stare into her eyes as he felt himself climaxing.
The release was sweet. Kayura arched her head back, supported by some invisible surface. He captured her mouth with his lips again, drowning out any sound she would have made. They lay, wrapped in each others arms for a good while after that.
When the cold of the night air became too much, Touma replaced his boxers and helped Kayura back into her clothes. He held her tightly as the deep blue sphere that held them drifted back down towards the earth.
"Touma," Kayura said as their feet touched down on the fire escape outside Touma's window.
"Yes?"
"Are you still lonely?" she tweaked his nose with a slender finger.
"Not at the moment," he said with a wink, "only when you're away." She grinned like a Cheshire cat.
"Then why don't I come to see you more often. I had great fun playing on your bed in the clouds." She smiled again and disappeared into the darkness.
Touma let out a happy sigh. He would count the hours until her return.
