Webmaster's notes: Though as mobile suits were upgraded to higher and higher level of preformance they could comit to more and more impressive jet assisted jumps and flight, sustained air travel could not be attained by a mobile suit until the introduction of the Gouf Flight Type. The eigth model produced by an ongoing Gouf Flight project, the Gouf Flight Type saw limited production during the war. Although still plauged by overheating and rapid fuel loss, the MS-07H8, with two standard rocket thrusters, two large ones mounted in the rear skirt armor, and a massive jet engine in either leg, was capable of sustaining flight for short periods of time, and hense filling the role of an aircraft and a mobile suit in one. Made using many of the same parts as the MS-06B-3 Gouf Custom, the Gouf Flight Type also shares the Gouf Custom's weapons.
