Webmaster's Notes: A commander's unit Gelgoog Marine is an alost contradictory concept, shooting up fuel consumption and thrust when the main point of the Marine was to keep such things low. In any case, the MS-14Fs Gelgoog Marine Commander Type is a large improvement over the MS-14F, featuring head vulcans, an additonal thruster on the backpack, and Zaku FZ style leg mounted thrusters along with some smaller leg verniers. Externally it looks similar to the Gelgoog Marine but has many differences, including a slightly different torso design and a completely new backpack. To make up for its high performance, which takes it past the MS-14A Gelgoog speed wise, the MS-14Fs mounts two massive fuel tanks in addition to the two already used in the MS-14F design. Weapons wise, the MS-14Fs is a large step up from the Gelgoog Marine, using the rarely seen beam machinegun that proved to be one of the most effective weapons of the war and a full sized shield. All around, the MS-14Fs is more loaded down than almost any other mobile suit of the time, making it prohibitively expensive and rarely produced.
