Webmaster's Notes: Another model designed by the Unitied Maintenance Plan, the Gelgoog Jaeger is perhaps the only mobile suit out of the UMP that conceivably could have been built with many of the same parts as its predecessor. Equipped with a highly effective Beam Machine gun effective even at long range and a 110mm machinegun in either forarm, the Jaeger (German for "Hunter") bears a striking resemblance to the MS-14F Gelgoog Marine. However, the mobile suits could not be more different in ideology, and the Jaegers thrust strength is almost quadruple that of the Gelgoog Marine, making it the fastest mobile suit used by either side in the One Year War. Despite feul consumption issues and an odd lack of a beam saber probably caused by shortages of the technology or funds/parts needed to make it, its thrust power alone made the Jaeger an increadibly popular mobile suit. Only a few units were produced, many being involved in skirmishes against high performance Federal Forces mobile suits at and around Side 6. One unit fell into the hands of Zeon ace Shin Matsunga, replacing his MS-14B Gelgoog High Mobility Type. Unfortunately, the war ended within weeks of the Jaeger's rollout, preventing Matsunga's Gelgoog or any other from having any real effect on the outcome.
