Webmaster's Notes: The Agg is designated by the model number EMS-05, making it the only currently known mobile suit with the EMS title. While it could be a designation for worker mobile suits, this is unlikely, as the Zaku Worker and Zaku Tank were not given the EMS designation. Hense, the best guess for what "E" stands for is probably "excavation". While it is unknown whether the other four EMS types were failures or prototypes, the Agg itself never reached its true potential, the battle it was built for, the taking of Jaburo, taking place too quickly for it to be used. The main premise here is that since Jaburo is underground and an attack against its well armed jungle exterior would be suicide, there was no way they could prevent Zeon forces from tunneling in under them. To keep it moving at a decent speed the Agg was equipped with hover jets in favor of real legs. It mounted two large drills, two circular saw style rock grinders, and a laser cutting torch, all devoted to the digging of tunnels. Once the actual tunnel had been dug, the Agg could be equipped with large missile launchers in place of the drills so that it could offer support to Zeon MS rather than just being in the way. It is unlikely, though, that the Agg is sufficiently armed for combat.
