Webmaster's notes: Most sources state that the Zeong, at time of use, was 80% complete. This statement is misleading, as though it was missing its legs, in its place were mounted two huge thrusters, there to balance out its thrust when the time came for use in space. In effect, the thrusters doubled its acceleration maximum from sub-Zaku to Gelgoog, and in space, if anything, it was 120% complete, not 80%. The Zeong itself was a powerful mobile suit in the hands of a trained newtype pilot. Unlike the MAN-08 Elmeth, the Zeong employed cords between the mobile suit and the weapons under its command, giving the pilot a physical link to them that made control easier. The Zeong's hands served as the remote weapons, each finger mounting a mega particle cannon for a total of five in each hand. The Zeong also had two particle cannons on its torso and another in its head. The Zeong's cockpit was located in its head rather than its torso, a feature which meant that even if the body was destroyed the head could launch and either escape or mount a last ditch attack with its powerful mega particle cannon. The head was equipped with thrusters and was manuverable enough to serve as a small ship.
