Webmaster's notes: The final product of the Apsalus project, the Apsalus III was built, or at least finished, without approval from the Zeon command structure. Significantly larger and different in appearance than the first and second models, the Apsalus III featured a two-seat cockpit and a grossly powerful mega particle cannon capable of destroying every unit on a given battlefield in one hit. However, the weapon could also be fired very finely to destroy only certain targets and avoid hitting friendlies. Its two Minovsky craft systems were capable of extending downward on spindly legs to give the Aspalus support while firing, though unfortunately these made very good targets for Federation advance units. Though the Apsalus series was designed to destroy the Federation's main base at Jaburo, they were powerful weapons on any front.
