Webmaster's notes: The Ifltye was a prototype Newtype mobile suit powered by the EXAM sytem. When operated, the EXAM system drew upon a Newtype's soul that is captured within the mobile suit, giving the pilot of the MS extraordinary capability but also causing a lack of self control in determining friend from foe. The Iflyte(often called the Efreet Kai) was based off the MS-08TX Efreet, but was fitted with a large number of fixed weapons that it could fire off in rapid succesion. The designer of the Iflyte would later defect to the Federation and design them an EXAM capable MS of their own. It was created due to the scientist's extreme phobia of newtypes, and he hense create a mobile suit that could put an oldtype pilot on equal footing with them.
