Vegeta is the prince of all Saiyans, but that ain't much anymore because Freeza destroyed his home planet. Vegeta's main goal is immortality, but fails at that goal twice, as he's defeated by Goku and Freeza before his dream comes true. From then on, his goal is to be stronger than Goku. Although this never happens, he will admit Goku is stronger than him on occasion; the rage of that statement even pushes him to become Super Saiyan.
