Todd remarked as he read the brochure that was passed to him. "This looks like a cool trip."
Sakura turned to meet Todd in his desk. "You see this trip? We do these trips every year, I went to this beach when I was ten years old. I caught the erase card there."
"Really? Do you think I'll capture the erase card there as well?" Todd asked. "It would be neat to go there."
"Hold it, This trip isn't for a while." Sakura stated. "This trip will be made in the spring."
"What? That's months away!" Todd stammered. "I can't wait that long."
"You'll have to! Oh, look, there's Miss. Mackenzie." Sakura pointed as Miss. Mackenzie when she walked in.
"Well, children. Today, we'll think about tactics that we could use to get enough money to go to the holiday. The trip is very expensive, so I want all of you to start fund raising now." Miss. Mackenzie asked. "This is a free period, come up with new ideas."
"How expensive could a trip be anyway?" Todd asked Li.
"Well, last trip's cost was 500 dollars." Li replied. "I have no idea why it costs so much, we go to the beach for three days, visiting a shrine in a cave. What's so expensive about that?"
"I don't know." Todd replied.
Class was very interesting. After a vote, everyone decided on...nothing! A fight erupted in the class and Miss. Mackenzie had to break two groups up. Todd, Sakura, Li and Madison agreed to a bake sale. Everyone was too wrapped up in who is wrong and what idea is the coolest. Miss. Mackenzie looked over to Sakura's group and smiled. "It looks like you have come up with a good idea..."
"We did, we came up with a bake sale!" Todd replied proudly. "After all, lots of people can't turn down food."
"I have connections!" Madison replied. "I can rent us a studio kitchen and broadcast the cooking to everyone in town. We'll ask for donations on the show."
"But, wait." Todd interrupted. "That'll cost a lot of money! We can't do that..."
"Oh yes we can, I have a studio kitchen that we can borrow from all my loyal servants. I'll be the one who is video taping everything."
They all nodded and Miss. Mackenzie smiled. "You thought of everything, Todd can I see you after class?"
Todd gulped, what could she want with him? Before long, the bell to leave for lunch rang. Miss. Mackenzie confronted Todd and asked. "So, what were you saying about the Clow cards? have they been released?"
"What? How do you know about the clow cards?" Todd asked. "Are you after them too? I've had a lot of rival problems."
"I am not after the Clow cards. Sakura had the clow cards last, did you take them from her?" Miss. Mackenzie asked. "Is Keroberos with you?"
"Ah! You know about Kero as well." Todd replied. "He is with me, but I didn't bring him to school today. How did you know about Sakura having the clow cards?"
"Well, I knew for a long time. I didn't see Kero until the final card was captured..." Miss Mackenzie replied. "Yue tested Sakura. I don't sense his presence lately so I don't think he will be the one who tests you...how many Clow cards have you captured?"
"Well! That's an excellent question! Let's take a look!" Todd replies as he takes out his Clow cards. "I have 10 clow cards. The clow cards that I have are: Windy, Dash, Fly, Wood, Jump, Watery, Illusion, Sword, Shield and Song...oh my gosh! I have 10 clow cards!"
"What's so good about that, Todd?" Miss. Mackenzie asked with interest.
"I get to learn about the figure in my dream...is it you?" Todd asked. "...no? Well then...Anyway, 13 clow cards have been sealed. Unfortunately, one clow card has fallen into the wrong hands. The other two have been caught by the Mysterious Stranger...I don't know what to think about him or her. The Shrouded one's mission is still unclear to me..."
"Don't worry about the Mysterious Stranger, it's mission is not for evil so don't worry. The other force is the one to worry about, it is the force of darkness...The clow book was opened for the tenth time so history dictates that the Dark One will eventually form up again." Miss Mackenzie replied. "I was hoping that wouldn't happen."
"I'm sorry..." Todd mumbled. "I didn't know what I was doing."
"Don't worry, the book would eventually be opened again. Fate chose you so you must do this task. Anyway, you must go back to lunch with your friends." Miss. Mackenzie replied as Todd ran out the door.
Todd walked to his spot at the outside table. They looked at him and Todd sat down. "What took you?"
"Miss. Mackenzie knows that I'm a CardCaptor." Todd replied. "She talked about the Clow Cards with me."
"What?" Li asked, irritated. "She knows about you already?"
"So she does know about our situation." Sakura replied. "I hope you told her everything."
"I did." Todd replied. "When are we going to do this fund raiser, Madison?"
"After school, Todd." Madison replied. "We'll bake then and I'll tape!"
The lunch ended then and Sakura and Madison left for the main building. Li and Todd stayed behind. Li turned to Todd. "We knew about Miss. Mackenzie knowing about the clow cards, but I didn't think that she'd point you out so quickly. Why did she?"
"I'm sorry, I fell asleep in class and I mentioned it as I woke up." Todd asked. "Am I in trouble?"
"No, it's actually good that she found out. Now she'll be able to help you as well. The stakes are higher in this game, but you have lots of friends to help you, I as well." Li replied as he rushed off to join Sakura.
"Thanks, Li..." Todd mumbled, assured. "I won't let everyone down." Todd rushed after Li.
The next class was Japanese. Todd looked at the board and nodded. "I am getting this!" Todd got bored though towards class' end. The dismissal bell finally rang and Todd left with his friends. Todd forgot about what happened and had to call Tori to tell him that he's going to Madison's.
Todd, Li and Sakura were invited into Madison's limo and were driven to Madison's house. Todd looked at her mansion and gaped at the architecture. The mansion was beautiful and outlined with marble. The swimming pool was Olympic and there were three tennis courts. Todd sighed as he realized his duty was to cook, not have fun. Todd, Sakura and Li were led to the studio kitchen. Shortly after they got in, they noticed Jeremy and Tatea being driven up to the valet. They got off the limo and stared in wonder.
"Oh wow!" Jeremy breathed. "We're in the lap of luxury!"
"This is very impressive." Tatea commented. "Where are we going to do the cooking?"
They were also led to the studio kitchen. Todd waved to them as they got in. Jeremy ran up to Madison and replied. "I must say...I love the decoration, it's so posh!"
"I'm glad!" Madison replied. "Oh! I'm sorry, my name is Madison!"
"Hi Jeremy, I'm Sakura!" Sakura said warmly.
"Li." Li commented, now struggling with the dough. "It's an honor. I'd shake your hand but my hand covered in dough!"
"Hi, Tatea." Todd greeted, cheery. "You cook? Because I'm still learning."
"Can you read?" Tatea replied, annoyed. "Any fool can cook in a decent way if there is a recipe in front of your nose."
The cooking began. Li was struggling with the dough, Sakura turned and shook her head, irritated. Todd started making cookies, and started putting butter in the bowl, Todd dumped a cup of sugar and then another cup and another and another... "Todd!" Sakura snapped. "That's way too much sugar. Don't you see your ingredients? They say only one cup of sugar."
"Well, I did see the number 250." Todd replied, tasting some sugar. "I thought the recipe called for 250 cups of sugar!"
Sakura put her face in her hands and groaned. "The ML part of the recipe is covered by some flour, ugh..." She flicked the flour off, revealing ML on the book.
"Oh! Well I'll be darned!" Todd replied stupidly. "And I thought that it was going to be spectacular too with all that sugar..."
Kero suddenly bursted out of the backpack. "This is coming from someone who eats five spoons of sugar on his frosted flakes, a cereal already with sugar on it. He also puts sugar on his pop tarts, that's disgusting."
"Kero!" Sakura cried out as she rushed over to him. "How are you?"
"Good!" Kero replied. "I'll be even better when we get those cookies and cakes into the oven. "Whoa! What happened to him?"
Kero pointed at Jeremy and flew out of sight. Jeremy turned to her, Jeremy was covered in egg. "Hoo, hoo...I guess that isn't the way to crack eggs huh?"
"Ugh, this is going to be a long day..." Sakura moaned. "Li! Don't pound the bread dough like that! You have no idea how tough that dough will be after you pummel it like that!"
"I've never made bread before, Sakura." Li replied, punching the dough. "Come to think of it, I've never even baked before. The only food I'm good at is cooking Chinese food, I've never baked bread." Li finished and covered the bread up with a dish towel, to let it sit. Sakura looked over to Tatea and was amazed at how much Tatea has prepared in such a short time. Sakura walked over to her and laughed. Tatea looked up at her and Sakura finally said. "Now this is progress! I'm amazed."
"Like I said before, you can bake pretty much anything if you have a recipe in front of your face." Tatea scoffed, but then gained an irritated look. "Hey? Who died and put you in charge anyway? Get cracking, make something!"
Sakura looked at her, surprised. Sakura walked away and rolled her eyes. "What is wrong with her attitude? Why is she so good at this anyway, why is she so good at everything?"
"What did you say?" Tatea looked up at Sakura, Tatea was suspicious.
"Nothing!" Sakura called back. "...wow, weird..."
Tatea went back to her preparations. She gazed at the chocolate chip cookies and the s'mores, macaroons and the tarts. She made sure no one was looking and stared at her entries, they suddenly lifted of the ground and placed themselves in the ovens. The oven doors closed and Tatea said. "I love telekinesis. It makes everything so easy..."
Madison skipped up to her and asked, camera in hand. "So, Tatea...what have you made? Speak loud so the camera can pick you up loud and clear."
"Well..." Tatea replied, thinking. "I made some cookies and those chocolate things made with marshmallows. I also made those cookies that sort of look like bird nests too, I forget what they're called..."
"Let's go and see them!" Madison replied cheerily. "There they are, they look just like their photos!" Madison trotted off, laughing and looking at Jeremy trying to break eggs.
Jeremy tried squeezing the eggs, but the yoke ended up flying up and hitting him in the eye. "Ouch! I'll just try cracking them into the bowl now..." Jeremy broke some eggs over the bowl and they went right into the bowl! Not on the floor, not on the walls or ceiling but into the bowl. Jeremy was shocked and looked into the bowl. "Wow...just like in the movies."
Madison laughed and zoomed in on Jeremy's face with her camera. Jeremy looked at her and said. "Kids, don't try this at home. You may get eggs on the ceiling. Or out the window, but on the plus side, I'm improving my aim. See that tree over there?" Jeremy pointed to the tree outside the window. "I've been hitting the targets dead center!" Jeremy pointed at the bowl and Madison zoomed into it. "I don't really know what I've been making, because I took the recipe and made it into a paper airplane and threw it out the window. I think it landed in the pond..."
Madison laughed again and moved over to Li. Li was busy rolling the bread out, having a lot of trouble. "I'll put some more flour into the mix and, oh no! That's too much!" Li then growled as he started to struggle with peeling the dough off of the rolling pin. Li ripped some of it off and the rest accidentally landed on the floor. "This is so irritating!" The rest he began to roll again and sure enough, the dough rolled up on the rolling pin again. "Rats! I'll put more flour in and knead it some more..." Li kneaded the dough and it became too hard to work. Li sighed and looked at Madison. "Baking is hard..."
Madison skipped to Todd, who was measuring the mix of flour. "The list said 50. Fifty of what? Grams? Milliliters? Eggs? Chocolate chips? Sprinkles? Oh man, this is hard..." Todd said to himself. "I know this is flour, but how much does this number mean? I didn't do metric conversion very well in science last year..."
Madison zoomed in on her camera and asked. "What are you making, Todd?"
"A mess, that's for sure...it looks like I put too much flour into the mix." Todd replied, covered in flour. "I need some baking pans, where are they?"
"They're in the closet over there." Madison replied, pointing to a door to Todd's left.
Todd walked over to the closet door and opened it. Hundreds of pots fell and overpowered Todd. The pile was undisturbed until Todd's head poked out. "There are no PANS in here!" Todd growled.
"Oh, I'm sorry...It is just that I've never been in this room before. I always had my meals served to me. Um, try the door next to that one."
Todd did, and got hit with a mass of pans this time. The pile was huge and Todd stuck his head out of the pile. "Thanks madison."
"No problem!" Madison replied. "I've checked everyone else. They're having troubles too."
"That's great!" Todd replied bitterly and walked over to the giant fridge and looked inside, he shuddered and turned to Madison, scowling. "This is the worst! Kero snuck into the fridge and ate all of the frosting for the cakes."
Inside the fridge, we reveal a fat Keroberos. Kero moaned and asked. "Why did I do that...? I thought it was pudding...!"
Todd looked into the fridge and groaned. "Oh Kero, this is so stupid." Todd then griped at him. "You always give me a hard time about eating sugary pop tarts, but I'd never eat pure cake frosting...again...! You are a dirty little porker! A piglet! A pudge! A snorter! I hope you freeze to death in there! You deserve it!" Todd slammed the door and stomped back to his cooking post. Kero looked up and groaned and burped. Kero got up and out of the fridge. Todd then looked at his mix. "This calls for a mixer." Todd got out the biggest heaviest mixer and turned it on. Fortunately it mixed up the ingredients quickly, unfortunately some residue got volatile and splattered all over the room. Todd heaved and wiped his brow. "Phew, this is hard work."
It was time for everyone to put their stuff in the oven. Tatea's junk food was already done. Tatea got it out of the oven and sniffed it all, it was very well done and the smell permeated all over the room. Everyone breathed it in, it was heavenly. Tatea put a dozen cookies into the presentation dish and put the rest in a silver tin. Tatea then walked towards the door, everyone stared at her and she smiled and said. "Not so fast everyone, you honestly don't think that I made all these things for you guys right? Nope! These cookies and candy are for my brother, Blair! He gets out of prison tomorrow, and I want to surprise him. So long!"
They all stare at Tatea as she leaves the studio kitchen. Jeremy smiled and sighed. "She made those cookies for her brother, she is a peach! Oh wow! I love her even more. She's so wonderful. Very beautiful. Wow."
Todd looked at Kero and shook his head, Kero was now asleep and snoring loudly. Todd picked him up and shoved him into the backpack. Kero snorted and Jeremy stared at Todd. Todd smiled nervously and said. "I hiccuped!"
"That didn't sound like a hiccup." Jeremy replied. "...uh oh I smell something burning!" Jeremy ran to his oven and got his food out. It was more then burned, it was crispy and black. Jeremy shook his head and sighed. "I'll never be a world class pastry chef..."
Sakura, Todd and Li ran up to Jeremy and they all sighed. Todd sighed again and asked. "Jeremy, did you actually use a pan to cook the bread with? Because I don't see one."
Jeremy looked and laughed nervously. "I saw people cooking bread without pans before, I thought I'd try it myself! I sort of forgot that the dough could seep through the rungs of the racks. Sorry..." They all put their heads in their hands and screamed into them. Todd shouted. "This is the absolute worst! Hey? What's happening outside?" There seemed to be flower petals raining down on the world outside. Todd looked out the window to reveal the ground was covered with flower petals. "Flower petals? This is so strange..." Todd turned to Li, Sakura and Madison and nodded.
They all ran outside while Madison stayed behind. She put the baking tape in Jeremy's hand and inserted a different tape into her camera.
"You get to keep this, just don't break it." Madison said as she rushed off to join the rest of the gang.
Jeremy stared at them and asked. "What's that about...and why is the sky raining down blossoms?"
Sakura, Li, Todd and Madison walked outside and found themselves up to their knees in flower petals. Todd looked up to see a woman dancing on the roof of the kitchen building. Todd gazed at the woman and sighed. "This is a clow card, It's very pretty!"
"Yeah! It's the Flower card!" Kero replied. "Come on! Todd, jump up there."
"Alright, Alright..." Todd replied, taking out his pocket spear. "Spear of Todd...power of magic...power of light...surrender the spear...the force ignite, Release!" Todd's spear glowed and flashed out. A shower of glittering sparkles appeared and the spear grew to normal size. Todd then threw up the jump card and chanted. "Jump card!" Todd slammed the card with his spear and grew wings on his feet. Todd leaped up 20 feet and onto the roof. Todd then said to himself. "I hope they paid well for this roof...wouldn't want to fall through the roof." Todd espied the flower card dancing and releasing more flowers. "Flower card, isn't it...?"
Flower giggled and nodded. Todd smiled and then replied. "Now sorry...but I'm afraid I'm going to have to capture you. We can't have you showering us with petals, pretty as they are." Flower glared at Todd but then giggled again. Todd stared at her and she whispered in his ear. Todd nodded and said. "Sure thing, it's agreed! We'll have a dancing contest, and if I win, you'll come with me!"
Todd began to dance and the Flower card giggled and copied the movement. Todd did an even more advanced movement and Flower copied. Flower did a spin and a leap and Todd copied the movement. Sakura and Li looked up and asked. "What on earth is he doing? It looks like he is dancing with the card!"
Todd then did a handstand and spun around, he leaped up and did a fantastic jump. Flower attempted to do a handstand but her dress got in the way and she flopped over. She slowly got up and stared at a proud Todd. Todd then announced triumphantly. "Well, I win. Honor your part of the bargain and return to your power...uh oh..."
Flower gave an evil grin at Todd. Todd gulped and was suddenly stuck by Flower's hand. Todd lost his balance and fell down, his fall was broken by four feet of flower petals. "Ouch! I've been slapped by the Flower card..."
"What did you try to do, Todd?" Li joked. "You must have offended her! What happened? Did you ask her out on a date?"
"Laugh now Li, because we'll all be dead in a few minutes. Just wait and see."
Flower leaned over the edge and giggled evilly. Her eyes began glowing and the petals she unleashed suddenly burst into clouds of gas. Everyone coughed and started to choke on the pollen. "Cough cough...yuck, this card gives new meaning to the term "Hay fever." I'll have to use windy...cough cough...Windy, release and dispel." Todd took out Windy and impaled it with his spear. The card broke into a mass of yellow energy and it swirled into Windy's shape. "Windy...cough cough...blow all of these flower petals away. Windy flew up and lifted her hand. Windy summoned a wind that blew the flower petals away and they all breathed a sigh of relief. Flower glared at Windy and Todd. Todd turned to Windy and commanded. "Now, restrain this fiesty flower girl!"
Windy flew up and lunged at her. Flower summoned a flow of petals that hit Windy in the face, Windy fell back down to the ground. Windy however, was all right and wrapped around Flower like a twist tie. Flower was now restrained and helpless. "Jump Card!" Todd shouted as he slammed the Jump card with his spear. Todd jumped back to the roof top and ran to the Flower card. Todd positioned his spear and commanded. "Return to your power confined! Flower...ouch!" Todd was hit from behind by a mass of glowing black stars. "Ouch, who...wait, I know who did that!"
Two familiar forms approached Sakura, Li and Madison. Those familiar forms are Sennyo and Sennae. They laughed and Todd glared at them. Sennyo asked. "Need some help capturing that card? Hee, hee, hee..." "You won't fool me twice!" Todd replied, angry. "I'll capture that clow card. I don't need you to steal this card. Li, Sakura...take care of them for me!" Todd turned to the clow card but was hit by a mass of glowing black stars. "Don't DO that!"
Todd turned to them and they both leered at him. "Don't you dare ignore us, little man!" Sennae replied angrily. "Sennyo, do your capturing thing."
"Right, I'll first knock him off the roof and to his doom!" Sennyo replied. "summon winds...that make one cry...to think that they...are gonna die! Maelstrom magic!" She raised her fairy tipped wand to the sky, summoning a wind that knocked Todd clear off the roof.
"Fly Card!" Todd chanted as glowing wings appeared on his spear head. Todd rode the spear down to the ground.
"Force...know my plight...release the light..." Li chanted as his sword appeared and then chanted as he slammed an ofuda on the guard. "Now element! Fire!" Li's ofuda blasted with flame that shot towards Sennyo as she flew towards Flower Card.
Sennyo looked and chanted. "A barrier that protects me...for me there can be...Starlight Barrier!" She magically created a yellow barrier that repelled the fire. She positioned her fairy staff and shouted. "Now return to your power confined...Flower Card!!" Her fairy staff gained a glowing clow card appeared on the fairy's edge and Flower broke into a mass of energy that filtered into the clow card.
Li saw this and chanted "Lightning!" Li shot a bolt of lightning that hit Sennyo and knocked her off balance as the picture appeared on the clow card. The card flew away before Sennyo could grab it. The card flew to Todd and he grabbed it.
"You may have got rain, but you won't get this!" Todd replied, smug. "Nah, nah nah." Todd made a face at them and stuck out his tongue.
"Immature but justified..." Sakura replied proudly.
Sennyo and Sennae both glared at Todd and Sennae said. "Aha! So you caught the flower card! Well, we'll see how happy you really are when our master is released! You haven't won it all!" They both dashed off as the flower petals vanished.
Jeremy walked outside and stared at them. They stared back at Jeremy, who was soaking wet. Jeremy finally said. "Sorry everybody, I tried to save the food but it was all burned to a crisp. I tried to do the dishes but I broke a dish, it's on the floor. Sorry Madison, I lost the tape too. The tape fell in the dishwater..."
Everyone put their faces in their hands and groaned. Jeremy then said. "Well, on the plus side, Li' bread isn't burned! It isn't edible, but it makes a fantastic doorstop! See?" Jeremy pointed to the loaf of bread which was holding the door for him.
Todd looked at the flower card and said. "Don't worry about it. I have a better idea, You won't have to do anything either. Just go home and everything will be fine. As Jeremy left, Todd took out his spear and the flower card. "I have an excellent idea. Instead of selling food, we'll sell flowers. Flower Card...release and dispel!" Todd impaled the Flower Card with his spear. The card broke into a mass of energy which formed into Flower. Flower looked at Todd and he asked. "Could you please make us some pretty flower arrangements? We only need about twenty-five bouquets." Flower nodded and created the flowers. Todd then replied. "Thanks Flower, you're a peach!"
Flower nodded and returned to her card form. Todd looked to Sakura and they all put the flowers into Madison's house. "We'll sell these at the fund raiser tomorrow. That's a great idea!" Madison replied. "It's great that you blocked those people from taking that card."
"Don't thank me! Thank Li, he was the one who used the blow torch magic and the lightning!" Todd replied, motioning to Li. Li blushed.
"It's fire elemental, Todd." Li replied, scratching his neck. "Good work, Todd."
"I have a slight feeling that I'll be rewarded tonight in my dreams..." Todd replied to himself, knowing that he captured more then 10 clow cards.
Next time on card captor Todd!
Todd cupped his hands and put his face in them and groaned. He looked up and said. "You aren't going to tell me huh?"
"I cannot tell you who I am, but I can give you something. I will give you a magic spell, receive it now!" The figure replied as it raised its arm. A glowing orb appeared in her hand. Todd looked up and saw the orb coming down on him. Todd felt a warmness surge through him. Todd opened his eyes and looked around. "I don't feel any stronger...what sort of spell is this?"
"It's called 'magic missile.' It is a spell that has a 100% hit rate." The silhouette replied.

Todd looked over to see Tatea and Blair speeding down the road on a motorcycle. Tatea looked as though she was batting away a small object. Todd cried out. "Kero! Come on out! There's a clow card around and we have to capture it before the naughty ones show up. Let's Fly!!!" Todd slammed the fly card with his spear and off he darted on his spear. Todd flew up to Tatea who stared at him, the little creature was ahead of them. Tatea blinked and asked. "What on earth are you doing you idiot?! You shouldn't fly where others can see you!!"

Tejina and the guard made their way out and Todd
stayed inside. Todd cut through another door and went into the prison.
Blair was standing with the guard that was sent to release him. Blair asked.
"What on earth happened, a guard came to release me and suddenly all of
the cell doors swung and locked right in front of us. The doors locked
down too! What are you doing with that sword?"
