"Man, I hate thunder!" Todd shivered. "The sound gives me the creeps and the lightning isn't much more comforting...hey, wait. Did you just say Thunder card?"
"Uh...yeah, it's a giant beast named Raijuu, its specialty is thunder, hence the name. There could also be storm, storm is another card that brings rain or clouds. There could also be cloud as well, but it doesn't bring rain like this..." Kero mentioned. "Hey, don't you have school? I'll go with you this time."
"What? Why do you want to come today." Todd replied as he got himself a pop tart put it into a bowl and poured sugar and milk on it. "What's wrong Kero."
"You're eating a pop tart with sugar and milk in a bowl. Don't you think that's a tad unusual?" Kero asked, almost gagging.
"I'm exploring new frontiers! Don't you remember the peanut butter and carrot sandwhich?" Todd asked. "It was a huge hit!"
"You also hit a new record for disgusting me." Kero replied sarcastically. "You have pathetic eating habits."
"Whatever..."Todd rolled his eyes as he slugged the whole mix down and starting packing up his stuff. "I know I'll need a rain coat today. Man! Where is Tori anyway? I could be dead for all he cares. He is only entrusted with my very life here..."
"Oh you're just sour because he isn't here to drive you to school." Kero replied. "You'll have to walk to school today!"
The walk to school was dreadful, Todd got splashed by a car and it poured the whole way there. Sakura was not waiting for him, probably because of the rain. Todd ran into the main building and put his slimy coat into his locker. Madison skipped up to Todd and said in her usual cheer. "Don't you think this is great?"
"Don't I think what is great..." Todd replied as he looked at smiling Madison. Madison handed Todd a picture of Todd's next battle costume. Todd replied. "This isn't bad, but what could it be used for?"
"This could be my next hit in autumn rain wear." Madison replied. "It is cool?"
"Yeah, it's great. Do you know where Sakura is?" Todd asked. "I need to talk to her..."
Madison winked at him and said. "I know you like her, it's as plain as day." Madison giggled and continued. "I'm setting my sights on Li!" Madison led Todd to Sakura, who was sitting in the cafeteria.
"Hey, Sakura." Todd said. "What are you doing after school today?"
Sakura replied. "Nothing...presently, why?"
"I want to learn more secrets of the clow!" Todd said. "Is there a spell that I could use to help me somehow?"
"...well, there is a clow vision..." Sakura remembered. "Clow visions can help you tell the future. I don't think that you can use it yet though."
"Why not?" Todd asked.
"I don't think that you have enough clow cards...you need a lot of them in order to get an accurate vision." Sakura said as the bell rang, "I'll tell you about it later...anyway, do you want to see a movie with me after school today? I'm a critic of movies for the school paper..."
"Sure, it'll be okay today." Todd replied. "I've got nothing to do..." All three of them raced to the class room and sat at their usual spots. Tatea sat in the back of the class. Jeremy ran in and sat in the desk beside her. Jeremy showed Tatea a bouquet of poison ivy. "Here it is, poison ivy!"
"I don't like poison ivy!" Tatea protested. "Why did you pick that bouquet anyway? And how did you!"
"I picked it exactly the way that you told me to, with my bare hands!" Jeremy replied showing bandages on his hands. "I wanted to surprise you!"
"I'm sorry but I only like rose thorns." Tatea replied precisely. "They're my favorite."
"Okay, so tomorrow I'll pick you some roses!" Jeremy replied.
"No, not roses, only the thorned stalks they grow on, I want the blossoms removed. I like it even more when my lovers pick them without gloves and with their bare hands."
"Oh, really?"
"Yes, I can't live without them."
Ms. Mackenzie finally walked in and said. "Welcome children, The weather is strange today. Everyone did their homework?" Class as boring but the class changed over to English halfway through the morning. Todd was happy to see his latest Quiz, he got 88.
The class finally ended for lunch. Todd was so relieved because class seemed like forever. Todd, Sakura and Li went to the indoor cafeteria. They were a little depressed.
"This isn't much fun..." Todd sulked. "If we were outside we could enjoy the fresh air, we can also talk about clow stuff."
"I know, I was about to tell you about the clow visions." Sakura replied. "I hope we can talk about it after the movie."
"Movie?" Li asked, irritated. "How come you didn't ask me to the movie?"
"It's a great movie about a wonder heroine who leads the animals of the world to salvation. She falls in love with an angel and the angel dies protecting her, it's wonderful..." Sakura gushed. "Toddie is going to see it with me!"
"I'm gonna see what now?" Todd asked, mystified. "I'm going to see a..."
"Yes! Oh Yes, Toddie. You're coming with me to see a chick flick!" Sakura said. "You want to come with me, Madison?"
"Of course!" Madison twittered. "I'd like to see a good cry movie! Li! Do you want to come with me to this wonderful movie." "No thanks, I cannot come with you to this particular film." Li replied, holding back laughs. "Todd, tell me how it is later..."
The bell sounded as they all ate their lunch. Todd and Sakura walked back to class together Sakura asked. "So, are you excited about the movie that we're going to see after school today?"
"I'm going to see a..." Todd stopped himself. He began thinking to himself. "I think that Sakura may be testing my romantic ability by making me see this movie. I'd better be on my best behaviour." Todd then replied, nice and convincing. "Yes, I am happy that I am seeing this particular film with you."
"Well, I heard that it's a real snooze fest. I hope I don't fall asleep while watching this boring movie...Ididn't know that you love these sort of movies, how surprising." Sakura said. "This'll be great for you..."
"But I thought you really liked..." Todd asked, stopping himself. "Sakura doesn't like these movies? I might be allowed to hate these movies too!"
They finally reached the gym for gym class. Gym was quite nice, they played a game of soccer baseball. Todd and Li both hit home runs and scored big. Sakura walked up to the plate and smirked at Zachary, who was pitcher. Right before Zachary pitches, he suddenly said loudly. "Did you know that soccer baseball was first created by fat people in New Zealand? They formed the sport to encourage weight loss! The best player who practiced in a month was titled: Shaw of the Soccer Ball..."
"Just throw the ball already!" Chelsea interrupted. "Pitch, we've heard your tidbit of trivia for today. Now strike Sakura out for me! Come on, Zachary, do it!" Chelsea began chanting. "Zack-ie, Zack-ie, Zack-ie!"
"Zack-ie...?" Sakura wondered, amused. "Okay! Let's do it."
Zack threw the ball and Sakura missed it. Chelsea cheered. "Yes! Go Zack-ie! Zack-ie! Do it!!"
"Man, she's getting on my nerves..." Sakura said to herself. Zachary threw the ball again and Sakura got a good amount of the ball. The ball flew over to the back wall and hit above the lined part of the wall, a home run. "Alright! I did it!" Sakura ran around the bases and made it to home. Sakura, Li and Todd's team won the game. The bell finally rang and everyone was released from the school prison, only to see more downpour.
"Oh man! It's still raining." Todd complained. "It's been pouring all day...Hey! Say Sakura, how about we go to that movie? I'll have to call home though." Todd ran to a pay phone and asked. "You got a quarter?"
"Um..." Sakura murmured as she patted and searched her pockets. "I think this is a quarter...yes!" Sakura tossed him the quarter and Todd inserted it.
"Hello?" Todd asked into the receiver. "Hey, this is Todd. Tori? I'm going to a movie with Sakura and Madison. I'll be home when it's over.*Click*" Todd hung up the phone and turned to Sakura. "Well, let's go!"
Sakura got out her blue umbrella and opened it. Todd now took shelter in Sakura's big umbrella and walked over to the theater. Sakura and Todd walked up to the ticket booth. "Two please, for 40 Days and 40 Nights..."
The ticket woman stared at them she chuckled to herself. "You two look so cute together! You're going to see a romance movie too! Aww..."
Sakura and Todd looked back at the ticket lady and both smiled. They got the tickets and entered the movie theater. They were amazed at the layout. Snackbars lined the walls and they were all bursting with snacks of all kinds. Todd and Sakura looked up and noticed a giant airplane hanging from the ceiling. They also saw that getting a snack now was easy but in a few minutes, all snack bars will be packed solid. Sakura said. "Quick! Let's get some snacks while we still can!"
Todd and Sakura raced to the snack bar and secured their place as first. Seconds later, over one hundred people burst into the theater and suddenly lined the snack bars. They began shouting "Candy, Chocolate, Popcorn, Ice-cream, Pizza!"
Todd ordered some popcorn and Sakura ordered some popcorn and soda. They quickly left for the movie. They looked back as a riot over snack food emerged behind them. They both became mystified, as people began pushing and shoving each other down.
"I'm so glad you're okay." Todd said in a loving tone.
"Todd, oh valiant knight! You saved my life, if we were any later...You and I could have both been killed..." Sakura lovingly replied.
Todd and Sakura entered the movie. They took the middle seats and sat together. They looked at each other and laughed as the previews began. The first preview was about a killer cyborg math tutor who goes to the future to save the worlds mouse population. According to Todd, the robot's best friend is a singing dancing toaster named Myron. "Wow! That looks so cool!"
They saw the next preview. The next preview was about a group of cheerleader gladiators who got trapped on a tropical island full of little gremlins. The cheerleaders then open a coffee shop on the island and open a discussion group and eventually bare their souls to one another. Todd finally commented "That one looks bad...ugh, no explosions."
The next preview was about the history of explosions. In the preview alone, there were more then 10 explosions in it. Todd looked at his popcorn and said. "My popcorn is a little bland, I'm going to put some barbeque flavoring on it."
Todd left the movie theater to notice Tatea getting some refreshments. Todd walked up to Tatea and asked. "Tatea! I didn't know you step outside your house once and a while."
"I have a social life you know."Tatea growled. "I'll bet that you are seeing that girlish movie 40 Days and 40 nights."
"I am, not!" Todd replied.
Madison suddenly came up from out of nowhere and said. "Hello Todd, sorry I'm late, let's go and see 40 Days and 40 Nights now. I managed to get Li to come with me! He's getting some food!"
"Food?" Kero said from inside Todd's backpack. "I'm starved! Let's eat, Todd!
"Do you have some small kid in your backpack or something?" Tatea asked. "I thought I heard a voice in your backpack."
"No you didn't." Todd repled. "What movie are you here to see anyway?"
"It's none of your business, but I'm going to see, Cops: The movie. I heard from my brother that he is in it! Now answer the question! I heard a voice from your backpack, tell me what it was!"
"You didn't hear anything, I swear!"
"Yes I did!" Tatea growled. "Whatever..." Tatea stormed off and entered the theater door marked: "Cops: The Movie."
Li trudged up to Todd, he looked exhausted. Li turned to Madison "Is this the movie?"
"Yes, yes yes!" Madison replied as she pushed into the doors. "Come on Todd, have a cry with us!"
"Give me a break!" Todd moaned as he walked after them.
The movie began with a monologue of the idealized heroine. "I was born in a ghetto and I had to work for my daily slice of bread and cheese. I was raised in a French prison by a pack of rats. I eventually lived at the orphanage until I was old enough to get a job. My job was to dive for pennies in the harbor, you'd be surprised of how many carelessly thrown pennies there are. My first love was with a sea captain, he was tragically killed by being eaten a flock of sea gulls, just because he smelled like rotting fish. He was killed right in front of me. I cried for awhile and attempted to commit suicide, but was saved by a trampoline. I befriended the trampoline and fell in love with him. Tragically, some movers came along and packed him up and moved him away. It was a long time before I fell in love with another. I fell in love with a young man who was interested in ballet and disco music. Tragically, the man I loved turned out to be a woman."
"What does this have to do with anything...?" Todd and Li both wondered in their minds. The idealized heroine continued her speech.
"I was facing money troubles, so I robbed a bank. I got sent to jail and I was sentence to death by guillotine. Just as the blade dropped, I was saved by a mysterious stranger. The stranger then dumped me into a big metal pot, in preparation to cook me and eat me. I was rescued by a super intelligent chimpanzee. I fell in love with the chimpanzee and took him home to meet my parents. The chimpanzee was run over by a fire truck and instantly killed..."
"Can we go now, Madison? It 100% stinks..." Li asked. "Please? I'll make it up to you some how!"
"Yes." Madison replied, annoyed at the movie. "Are you coming too, Sakura?"
"I have to do a review! So I'll stay." Sakura replied.
The movie suddenly ended when Madison and Li stood up to exit the movie.
Sakura then cried out. "That's the ending?! That's terrible!"
They heard some noises up in the camera room. The movie player then screamed and laughed as what appeared to be flames appeared in the room above. Everyone looked up as they heard the player scream. "Haaah! Die! Die, vile movie!"
They all left the theater. The ticket master then confronts them all and says. "We are deeply sorry for letting you look at this movie. Please accept a double refund from all of us. Have a nice day, also beware everyone. There has been an alert for a flood watch. Everyone should get their belongings and move to higher ground."
"I didn't know you were also the news guy...? I thought you looked familiar..." Todd replied.
"I'm freelancing."
"Cool."
They left the movie theater to notice that it is still pouring rain. There was four inches of rain on the ground. Todd looked up to see lightning and thunder. Todd shivered. The others looked up and stared at Todd and Todd nodded. "I believe that this is a clow card."
Kero flew up out of Todd's backpack and stated. "I sense something, I sense a clow card, but I also sense something else..."
"What else do you..." Suddenly Todd was hit with it. "I also sense something strange... I think I might know what might be doing this, I just can't find it anywhere..."
"Let's begin searching..." Li replied as she got out his lasan board. "Source of light with ancient spin, send forth the magic power within, oracles of gold, wood, fire, earth, clouds, wind, rain, and electricity...force, know my plight; release the light!" The lasan board glowed and shot directly up. Everyone was shocked.
Madison ran up to Todd and said. "This is your call, Todd. I have a fabulous battle costume for you! Come here."
Within minutes, Todd was into a battle costume that Madison created. The costume had purple boots that went up to Todd's thighs, purple gloves that went to his elbows and a bright green poncho that covered Todd's body. Todd also was wearing a large wide brimmed jin gasa with cat ears at the top. "...um, I understand the hat and the poncho, but why the long, purple rubber gloves?"
"Rubber will protect you from lightning and your suit will protect you from rain." Madison replied cheerily. "Let me get one shot of you before you go."
"You're coming with me!" Todd said to Li. "You'll have to, if we want to capture this card..."
"How do you propose that we go?" Li asked. "It's up there, were down here..."
"That's the easy part..." Todd replied. "Spear of Todd...power of magic...power of light...surrender the spear...the force ignite! Release!" Todd's spear shined in an orb of yellow light and grew to normal size. "Shield card...release and dispel! Make me and Li protected from the winds and lightning!"
The card swirled and broke into a mass of blue energy, flying around Todd and Li, eventually forming a barrier. Todd then took the Fly card and impaled it with his spear. "Fly card!" Todd's spear grew wings of white on the head. Todd hopped on his spear and said. "We will definitely need Fly for this mission. Climb on, Li! I need you to attack the card!"
Li jumped on to Todd's spear and they flew up high. They flew higher and higher until they reached clouds, which was actually only 300 feet up. Lightning flashed and leaped from cloud to cloud in arks and chains. Todd yelped and gripped his spear tighter as they rose up.
"Don't tell me you're afraid of thunder..." Li asked, annoyed.
"I am not afraid!" Todd replied, embarrassed. "I just don't like all the noise..."
"Whoa! Watch out!"
A bolt of lightning suddenly struck Todd and Li while they were climbing the clouds. Luckily, the shield protected them from the lightning. Todd and Li speeded up flying, Li commented. "I hope we get there soon, this shield is only temporary. If the lightning doesn't get us, the wind will."
They finally reached the top of the clouds and sighed a breath of relief. The shield disappeared and they flew up higher. They darted around with their spear. They didn't find anything at first but Todd pointed down to the clouds. Todd shouted. "Rain card! I know you're here! So show yourself!"
Rain peeked up from the clouds and giggled. Todd and Li stared at it and it stared back and finally it glared at them. She molded her cloud into a gun shape. Todd and Li looked at each other in a panicked look and gulped nervously. "T, that gun doesn't scare us! I'm gonna capture you!"
The Rain card laughed in a cute way and fired the gun. The gun shot a giant blast of water and hit Todd and Li. They nearly fall of their spear, but Todd regains control. "That won't stop us! Li, attack with lightning now!"
"Force, know my plight...release the light! Lightning!" Li shot a bolt of lightning at Rain but she raised her arm and a cloud flew up from the clouds and the cloud took the hit. Rain laughed and returned fire. Her rain blaster shot many bolts of rain at them and Todd maneuvered his spear so they missed. Todd then said. "Take care, Li. I'm gonna snag some cloud."
Todd and Li darted into the clouds and came out from behind the clouds. Rain looked from behind and started to react, but it was too late. As Todd and Li came out the clouds, Li summoned another bolt of lightning and that hit Rain, square and true. Rain was electrocuted and fell from her cloud. She was unconscious and falling fast. Todd and Li raced downward to make sure that they don't lose her. She was falling toward the park and that's where Sakura and Madison were. Rain hit the ground and bounced up. Todd and Li landed on the ground just as the wings on Todd's spear dispelled. "Okay, Rain! Now you must return!"
Rain got up and leered at him. Rain summoned another cloud and attempted to take to the sky again. Todd saw this and quickly remarked. "Oh no you don't!" Todd threw up the Wood card and impaled it with his spear. "Wood, release and dispel! Restrain Rain!" The wood card burst into a mass of green vines and roots. Wood appeared from a blossom that was in the center of the roots. As rain climbed higher, Wood raised her hand and a vine shot up after Rain. Rain's cloud was caught by Wood's vine and the vine dragged Rain back down to the ground. Rain gave a sad look to Wood but Wood shook her head. Wood summoned more vines that ensnared Rain completely. Todd ran to Rain and positioned his spear. "Rain...return to your power...ouch!" Todd was suddenly hit with a barrage of little black energy stars. Todd sprawled to the ground, but was unscathed. He looked at who shot that and was surprised. What he saw seemed to be two children, but one had lopped rabbit ears and blue armor and the other had fairy wings and antennas. They laughed and jumped closer. "What on earth are you? More Clow cards? I'll capture you if you are Clow cards" Todd asked, angry.
They jumped around like a couple of hyperactive children and laughed. "Hee, hee, hee...nope! Wrong! Not! Mistake! Ha!"
Li, Sakura, and Madison backed away from them and Li asked. "What are you? Are you trying to help us, because I don't sense so!"
"Heh, heh, heh! I'm afraid that we are your rivals!" The one with rabbit ears replied in a mischievous, evil tone. "I am, the rabbit child: Sennae!!"
"Hee, hee, hee! I am also your rival!" The one with the antennas and wings replied, also in a mischievous and evil tone. "I am, the cute little fairy: Sennyo!"
"The naughty ones!" Li suddenly bursted out. "I know them from before!"
"Naughty ones?" Todd and Sakura asked in unison. "What on earth do you mean, Li?"
"That is the name that Showron gave us when we trained together!" Sennyo replied. "We trained at the same school that Showron here was at. We left the school..."
"You were expelled..." Li replied in an annoyed tone. "What do you think you're doing, and why on earth do you look like that?"
"Shut up, little arrogant one, it is not your place to ask such questions!" Sennae snapped. "Sennyo! Do your thing!"
"Right!" Sennyo replied as she flittered to Rain, who was binded. "Rain Card, return to your power confined! Hee, hee, hee..." Sennyo chanted as she positioned her black, fairy tipped sealing wand. Her wand gained a glowing clow card. Everyone watched in shock as Rain broke into energy beams, each filtering into the card on the wand. Rain's picture appeared on the card and Sennyo grabbed the card before it could go to Todd. "Woo hoo! We got the Rain Card, Brother!"
"HEY!!!!" Todd yelled angrily. "That's not fair! You stole it!"
"Give the card back, you two." Kero commanded, irritated.
"All's fair in love, war and card capturing Keroberos...becides you snooze, you lose! Hee, hee, hee..." Sennyo laughed with evil. "Well, Let's go...brother O!"
"Right Sis! See you guys later!!" Sennae shouted as they both ran and flew off. "Heh, heh, heh..."
"That is totally unfair!!" Todd screamed, almost having a temper tantrum. "Let's go get our card back!"
"Wow, I still can't believe they stole the card like that..." Kero said, surprised. "Hey! Wait!"
They ran after them and eventually reached the end of the park. They encountered Jaki and Mashou on their way. Todd walked up to them and asked. "Have you seen two strange looking people around here?"
"Besides you and your friends? Hee, hee, hee!" Jaki replied, laughing with Mashou. "Nope. I sort of saw some people but they disappeared...why?"
"Never mind..." Todd sulked miserably as they all began to walk home.
Jaki and Mashou looked at each other and giggled evilly. "I can't believe they fell for it!"
"I guess we overestimated these kids in the first place..." Mashou replied. "Our master will be pleased!" They both ran off into the evening.
Back at Todd's apartment, Todd couldn't help but be depressed. Kero flew up to him and said. "Don't worry about it kid...you didn't know..."
"I let a clow card get stolen! I can't believe how stupid I've been to let my guard down..." Todd replied sadly. "Kero... those people were...evil, weren't they...?"
"I don't know, their aura I felt from them is not good and they look vaguely familiar...I know that what I just said is not good news isn't it...?"
"I don't know what to do. Sakura never had to deal with anything other then collecting clow cards..." Todd replied bleakly.
"STOP COMPARING YOURSELF TO HER!!!" Kero suddenly shouted, angry. "Never judge yourself from other people. It is totally inaccurate, not to mention cheapening..."
"Oh Kero...I'm sorry, I'm just a little stressed." Todd replied bleakly. "Li thinks that I'm hopeless and I totally don't know what to do."
"What you must do is capture more clow cards. I'll always be here to help you..." Kero replied. "Those imp children may have some power, but you're the rightful CardCaptor."
"I know, but..." Todd wondered. "I'll think of something, now I have to practice my recorder for a music quiz that's in two days. I'll start playing now..."
"Oh oh...this won't be pleasant..." Kero grumbled as he headed into Todd's room to get himself a pillow. "Please be gentile Todd. These little ears don't want a thrashing..."
Next time on Card Captor Todd
Kero was scrambling to get away from it but it was too late. Kero felt the shock and was hit with a force worth reckoning. Kero was stunned but unscathed so he flew under the bed with a pillow. He tucked his head under the pillow and screamed into it. Outside of Todd's chamber, Todd was playing his recorder, badly.
Todd played some strikingly loud and high notes on his recorder. Todd was amazed, he didn't know such notes were possible to play on the recorder. "Wow! I'll get an A on this test for sure!" Suddenly Todd heard a knocking on his floor. "Sorry!" Todd yelled down to the ground.

Todd put on the battle costume and came out of the shadows and into the starlight. Todd had dark blue boots and a red cape. Todd was wearing a small doublet, breastplate armor and a plumed cap. They all gazed at Todd's costume. Todd looked at himself and said. "This is nice, I look like a character from Romeo and Juliet. Very cool!"
"I knew you'd like it!" Madison replied. "Let's go into the school." They all walked into the school, which was unlocked. They wondered why but they saw the Mysterious Stranger leaning against the wall. They looked at the Mysterious Stranger and it replied. "Come with me, they are in the music room."

"Yes! You did it!" Sakura shouted out. "We win
these clow cards!" Todd ran over to them and positioned his spear. He was
about to do the sealing chant when they both glared at him. Todd stepped
back, surprised. They both look at each other and then laughed. They actually
laughed in quite an wicked way that sent chills down everyone's spine.
Todd then asked. "What's so funny?"
