Jamie looked how the car disappeared around the corner of the street and drew a deep breath.

She swallowed, squeezed the handle of her satchel and started walking towards the large building in front of her.

On her way to the large doors she forced herself to relax a little.

She carefully opened one of the doors, walked inside and closed the door again. Then she turned around and looked at her surroundings.

The entree hall was large and light, she looked around and took the hallway at her right side.

The hallway also was large and light with doors on each side and large windows. When she passed by them she looked inside from the corner of her eye. The large classrooms were filled with boys and girls in school uniforms, some groups around her age, others older or younger.

She slightly panicked after she passed the 5th classroom.

At the end of the hallway was another double door, she swallowed and opened it. Yet another hallway.

She let out a frustrated sigh and took a turn left when she heard a voice behind her.

"Are you lost or anything?"

Jamie swirled around and almost took a fighting pose when she remembered something that her father had said.

She gritted her teeth and relaxed a little, looking at the boy who was leaning against the wall with his hands in his pockets.

"Well?"

"I err…"

She scratched the back of her head and looked at the floor.

"Sortha…I guess."

The boy smiled at her and his dark-green eyes got an amused twinkle in them.

"This is your first day here, isn't it?"

"Ehm, well, yea."

"Come on, I'll show you the principles office."

He started walking down the hallway and Jamie followed him, thinking about how her friends would have handled this situation.

Jamie grimaced, trying to ignore the little voice in her head, but it didn't stop.

With that the mental voice of her guardian cat disappeared from her head and Jamie thought about what she had said.

It was true, she did feel friendship, even for Aleta. They didn't know each other for very long, they had met on the evening Jamie and her little sister Mary had woken up because the felt something was wrong.

When they went to investigate they had found a 'Blob' and had transformed in order to beat the thing as Sailor Sagna and Sailor Ara.

Things hadn't turned out good, but they were saved by 4 other Sailors (well, one actually, Sailor Aira's 'Aira Ice Sparkling' was the only attack that had affect on the Blob)

She was pulled from her thoughts by the boy.

"Well, here you are."

Jamie looked at the door, which had a small shield attached to it which read: 'principle'.

"Thanks, ehm…"

"My name's Inibar."

"Thanks, Inibar."

With that she knocked the door once and waited untill she heard: "Come in" Looked at Inibar one more time, opened the door and walked into the office.

The office was light and spacious, just like the rest of the school. The walls were covert with photos from different classes and teachers. Behind the desk a woman looked at Jamie.

"Jamie Evans I presume?"

"Ehm, yea."

"I see you already got your uniform, very good. Please do sit down."

The woman motioned at a chair and Jamie sat down in it. She carefully laid her hands on her lap after putting down her satchel, mentally cursing the school uniform.

She never really had liked skirts, and this one was soliciting for the most hated skirt ever.

It was a blue pleated skirt, reaching just above her knees, with it was some sort of white shirt with blue edges.

The principle looked at her.

"I understand you had a private teacher?"

"That's correct."

"Just curious, but why did you want to go to public school?"

Jamie swallowed. The reason she wanted to public school suddenly seemed ridiculous.

The only reason she really wanted the hope to see Reiki, Ivana and Sidra more often, even though she had her doubts about Sidra going to school in the first place.

"I err, I wanted to spend more time with other people of my age."

"Ah, I see. Must be lonely with a private teacher. Do you know any students at our school?"

"Yes, I mean no, I mean… well, maybe."

"Hm, well if you do you will probably feel right at home with us."

"I hope so."

"Lets see, you're in class 4C, and… Do you already have the timetable?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Okay then, I'll bring you to your class."

The principle stood up and walked to the door while Jamie quickly did the same, grabbing her satchel in the process.

She followed the principle untill they had reached the door of a classroom, the woman knocked it once and then opened it, and motioned the teacher to come to them.

The teacher, a woman in her late 20s with dark-gray eyes and dark-green hair tied up in a knot walked tot he door.

"Ah principle, you came to bring me a new student?"

"Yes Ms. Tesuto, This is Jamie Evans, she will be in your class from now on."

Ms. Tesuto smiled at Jamie, who for some reason felt the chills running down her spine.

"Hello Jamie, pleased to meat you, I hope you'll like it in my class."

"I hope so too, Tesuto-sensee."

Jamie looked how the principle returned to her office, follower Ms. Tesuto into the classroom and closed the door behind her.

When she looked at her new class she immediately recognized Inibar, who shot her a smile from his seat in the back of the classroom.

She quickly smiled back and went standing next to Ms. Tesuto, who laid a hand on her shoulder.

"Class, this is Jamie Evans, she will be in our class from now on, and I hope she won't have any trouble."

The way she said 'and I hope' almost sounded like a warning that was shot towards the students.

"Jamie, you can sit next to Novele."

Jamie walked to the seat the teacher had pointed at and sat down next to a girl with bright-green eyes and jumpy red hair.

"Hi."

"Hello. I'm Novele."

"Jamie, but you already know that."

The girls smiled at each other and Jamie was about to say another thing when Ms. Tesuto asked their attention and started her lessons.

Mary looked up from the television when Jamie walked in, dropped her satchel and fell down on the couch.

"So…How was school?"

Jamie laid her head back over the chairs back.

"Exhausting is one word."

"And the others?"

"Hard, boring, struggle for life…"

"Hm, sounds great."

Misses Plum walked in and sat down on the couch.

"Well Jamie, sounds like real fun."

Jamie didn't fail to notice the light sarcasm in the elder lady's voice and grinned. Just the cat door in the kitchen clapped and Jade walked in.

The cat looked slightly worried when she jumped on Jamie's lap.

Mary also noticed it and looked at Jamie.

"So, do you have homework?"

Jamie first frowned but then realized her sister was giving her a way to escape, picked up Jade with one hand and her satchel with her other.

"Yea, that's right. See you at diner."

With that she hurried up the stairs and rushed into her room.

Mary smiled at misses Plum.

"Well, I guess I'll go then too."

She turned of the television and walked up to her own room to get Felix, and then went to Jamie's room.

Her sister and Jade were sitting on the bed and she sat down on a chair while Felix installed himself on the bedpost.

Jade gave Felix a sad look, who looked a bit surprised and began to speak.

"We have a problem."

"Geraldula?"

"No Mary, worse… There's something new threatening our wellbeing and that of the rest of the world. I tried to reach the other sailors, but failed."

"And how's that, my furry fellow guardian?"

"I couldn't find them anywhere. Reiki seems to have disappeared from the globe along with Sidra and I heard Ivana is out on a vacation."

Jamie crossed her legs on the bed.

"What about Aleta?"

"I found Celeste, she says that Aleta's in the hospital. She had a car accident the other day and got hurt."

"Poor Aleta…"

"Agree with you Mary, she may be a bitch at times, but she doesn't deserve this."

"Anyhow, I have the feeling something worse than Geraldula is coming, so it's up to you 2."

"Woopie…"

They all stared at the floor for a minute untill Jamie jumped up.

"Okay, this is all nice and dandy, but in the meanwhile I have some homework to do, so shoo, go away."

"But I thought that-"

"It was only and excuse? No way, I really do have homework, now out you go."

Jamie pushed Mary and Felix out the door and sat down behind her desk while taking her math book out of her satchel.

"Well, better get to work."

When Jamie arrived at school the next morning, the place was crowded.

Students running everywhere and no familiar face in sight.

She looked around confused for a moment when someone tapped her on the shoulder.

"Hi Jamie."

"Konnichi wa Novele."

Novele opened her mouth to say another thing when the bell ringed.

"Well, class time. Coming Jamie?"

"Right behind you."

When they sat down in their seats and looked at the blackboard they saw that the portal to Hell was about to open.

Miss. Tesuto had a habit of writing everything that was going to be taught that day on the blackboard.

Novele sighed.

"Math, Geography, Gym class, yuck…"

"Urk….math…."

At that moment Miss Tesuto walked in and threw her books on the table.

"Books out of those satchels and get to work! Your parents aren't paying us to let you kids be lazy."

At that moment Inibar ran into the class and raced towards his desk, only to be grabbed at the collar of his jacket.

"And why are you so late?"

"Gomen nasai, Tesuto-sensee, my bus was late."

Miss. Tesuto snorted.

"Hm, you'll be excused this time. Get into your seat and to work."

"Hai."

Jamie and Novele looked how Inibar quickly got behind his desk and they both sighed.

Novele opened her math notepad.

"Aw well…"

Jamie just walked out of the girls locker room when the lunch bell rang.

Novele popped up infront of her.

"Hi, coming to sit with us?"

"Sure."

While walking outside Jamie smiled.

Novele stopped at a large tree in the grass field where Inibar and some other students were sitting.

Jamie sat down under the tree with the others and was just pulling her lunchbox out of her satchel when a girl swung in her view.

The girl had black wavy hair and green eyes. She was wearing baggy jeans with sneakers and a tank top over her flat chest. She was hanging upside down with her legs hooked over a thick branch.

"Konnichi wa. New here aren't you? I've never seen you around here before. Not that I drop by that often. I'm Ryo, but everyone calls me Drake."

"Jamie. And what do you mean by 'not dropping by to often'?"

Inibar, who was laying an arm around Noveles shoulders grinned.

"Drake's a truant, note the lack of school uniform."

Ryo jumped out of the tree and stuck her hands in her pockets.

"And you were one to, Inibar, untill you found yours truly that is."

"Maybe it's time you find someone to love."

Ryo rolled her eyes and sighed.

"Well, I'm baling, Tesuto-sensee is coming this way and she looks ready to kick butt, Sayonara!"

Jamie looked how Ryo took a quick sprint to the street and disappeared around a corner.

Novele grinned.

"Disturbed, but in a good way."

"Yea."

Jamie was just falling down on the couch in the livingroom when the telephone rang.

She quickly dove for it and pushed the 'accept' button.

"Moshi Moshi."

"Jamie, is that you?"

"Aleta? Yea, it's me."

"Yosh."

"How did you get this number?"

"I looked it up in the telephone directory."

"Figures. What are you calling for?"

"Ivana asked me to, we're all planning on going to the McD's this Saturday."

"Okay, hold on a minute, let me write that down."

Jamie reached for paper and pen with one hand, ending up in an uncomfortable position.

"Okay, McD's, Saturday. What time?"

"11 o' clock."

"11 o' clock, alllrighty, we'll be there."

" 'Kay, that'll be all, ciao!"

"Bye!"

Jamie placed the phone on the hook and looked at the note.

The next morning Jamie raced down the stairs and stopped to put her shoes on when Mary popped up next to her.

"G'morning neesan."

"G'morning ma-"

Jamie looked at her little sister, who was wearing the same school outfit as herself, only smaller.

"What are you planning to do?"

"Coming along of course ^__^ I'm attending to public school too now."

Jamie just looked at her little sister for a moment.

"Well, okay…I guess. Lets go!"

Thus the 2 girls raced out of the front door, towards the school.
